The problem is now even if Akshay does a good film and acts really good in it, it will still struggle at the BO cuz now the problem is not his quality but quantity of films and he still won’t understand the issue. Hopefully he bounces back🤞
@kickass211712 сағат бұрын
Even if Akshay gives good performance, is it worth it for the makers to give insane fees to him and sky rocket the budget? The vfx looks so bad in this movie; they could've invested the money in giving a polished cgi scenes instead of casting Akki. Films like Munjya can do 100cr+ business with no big name star, have decent vfx even at low budget due to these reasons. Bollywood needs to let go of its obsession with stardom and stop trying to turn nepo babies like Sara who can't act to save her life into a star.

Its not about quantity its almost 37 years in this industry and Akshay sir maintain his Movies and few people's think that it's about quantity and can you give gurantee to akshay sir if he do 1 movie in the year will be blockbuster Bro its simple to saying but in practicaly issue is Content taste where people in present wants different ❤ Akshay is completely true and he will continue his legacy 👍🏻

I was pleasantly surprised by the film - TBH its much better than what the trailer indicated. Like you said its a good and well-made patriotic film with a solid & sincere performance by Akshay Kumar. However large portions of the film especially in the 1st half are uncannily similar to FIGHTER including Tabby's character being a brash, reckless, over-confident pilot like PATTY. Had this one released before FIGHTER, I would have liked it more yet I must say that I was never bored as it moves at a brisk pace and is just 2 hrs 5 mins duration. Honestly this one far exceeded my expectations that I had after seeing the trailer.

Jingoism in movies is ruining Bollywood. They should try focusing on stories and not force fake patriotism.

Wrote a review but dont know where to post it So here it goes Skyforce Movie Review: Akshay Kumar Shines, But Does the Film Soar? Skyforce marks Akshay Kumar’s triumphant return to form, reminding us why he’s called the OG of Bollywood. After a few setbacks, his aura is intact, and he delivers a stellar performance that anchors the film. Debutant Veer Pahariya, however, is average at best. While he shows glimpses of potential, given a unique on-screen personality that lets him stand out ,media claims hailing him as the next superstar feel overhyped and forced. Among the rest of the cast, Sharad Kelkar once again steals the show with his commanding presence, while Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan play safe, offering nothing extraordinary. Sara, in particular, sticks to her usual style, adding little novelty to the narrative. Visually, the film’s aerial sequences are well-shot, but inconsistent VFX detract from the overall impact. The cinematography does a decent job of balancing dimly lit indoor scenes, but the lack of vibrancy stands out. Directors Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur manage to keep the story engaging but falter with unnecessary voiceovers from Akshay that explain the obvious, often diluting the emotional depth of certain scenes. Editor A. Sreekar Prasad ensures the film’s pacing remains tight, keeping the audience hooked. However, the abrupt cut of the song Rang is a glaring misstep, robbing the film of a potentially fun and engaging soundtrack. Justin Varghese’s background score is hit-and-miss-effective at times but occasionally slipping into an overly generic Bollywood tone. Overall, Skyforce is an engaging watch and a solid choice for the Republic Weekend. While it doesn’t aim for the grandeur of last January’s Fighter, it offers a grounded narrative with gripping moments. It is safe to say Sky Force > Fighter. The theatrical experience is worth it, even if the film doesn’t quite soar to its full potential.

Sharp editing is a good aspect of any movie these days. We can't live in an era with the characters of a movie to understand their true connections and emotions.

This film will get Critical acclaim but business wise it will fail, Audience want masala and comedy ,emotion is already present in audience life due to current scenario so why pay for watching emotion

Excellent review. I feel that Jammy is being generous (very generous) by calling Veer's performance 'above average'. It's average at best. I cannot even call it decent. Veer cannot emote. His face simply doesn't work. He is very stiff and formal/monotone/untrained. Nimrat Kaur was a nice touch, Akshay and Nimrat make for a lovely couple. But yes, there's no deep personal connect with any character - maybe just a smidge with Akshay because he carries the film on his shoulders.

If Bollywood is making movie on real life personalities they need to get the facts and detailing right Ajjamada Deviah Boppayya was a Kodava a community from Karnataka, you have made him and his wife Tamilian in the movie , kodavas have distinct dressing and culture stereotyping every South Indian personality as Madrasi is never ending in Hindi movies , even the personalities like Caption Gopinath of Sarfira , Shakunthala Devi from Vidya Balan Shakunthala Devi movie were Kannadigas but their representation is not done accurately

Ok but speaking about forced PR….did anyone else notice that on social media, reels praising Sara and Veer’s chemistry and performances are circulating from seemingly non-official accounts. There is an elaborate PR machine trying to desperately sell this film by making fake edits with fake captions trying to give users the feeling that there is positive sentiment about this film and especially Sara and Veer on social media.
