That’s right they are forgotten about by the few that knew in the first place and the rest of us never even had the opportunity to forget as we never even knew about them in the first place. For example most people would think that to steal watches and then get caught by the police would mean that these people will have a really hard time with the police, prison sentence and all the problems related to this. In reality these people are let off very lightly so they just keep being criminals more or less the rest of their lives as they are allowed to by the system. The fake news media does not tell that story. So I heard someone being fined £400 by putting cardboard in their black bin, I bet that alone was a worse experience than these gang members being caught stealing watches, again very few people would know about that as media ignore these facts.

I have family that live in Manchester. The thing I see most every time visit is the apathy and poverty. Graffiti is everywhere and crime doesn’t seem to be a priority. It’s the same here in the U.S. Some cities are worse than others. Watch crime isn’t taken seriously as if it’s too much trouble. Take the incident report, get a copy for the insurance company, buy another watch. There’s places in London that I wouldn’t pull my phone out let alone wear any kind of watch.

Agreed and even those of us that live near and work in London feel the same. I spent ten days in Tokyo with not a single problem yet when I exited the airport I could feel the eyes on not only my phone but even my luggage when I had to take a pee. Suddenly London felt very hostile in the dark after ten wonderful days in a country where they still have respect and dignity as well as actual punishment for crimes.

I'm from Scotland. Only ever been to London 5 times in my life- one was for a concert so it was there and straight back, 2 were for flights so again there and back. But the 2 times I actually went to Lomdon as tourist, I was mugged both times. One was particularly terrifying as it was dark and I had a knife out to my side and was forced to put my PIN into the ATM so the person could take all available funds. Police were interested until I gave descriptions of the person, palmed off with the whole 'London is a massive place' nonsense despite the fact I told them the ATM CCTV would show a clear photo. That massive elephant in the room must be ignored at all times, can only imagine the frustration of people that actually live there.

Sky News has become a women’s chat show. Their news function seems to focus on reading the headlines of British newspapers. Then there is Martin Brunt occasionally surfacing to pull a new scapegoat out of the hat on the Madeleine McCann case, and precious little on the Jill Dando case. As for the BBC their biased reporting on matters Palestine leaves much to be desired. Where is their investigative and unfettered reporting? Someone is pulling their strings.

there will be some dodgy dealers selling them on here in the UK but my money is on them being sent out off the county and being sold in eastern Europe like what happens to high end cars. and some off the watch's will just be sold on for a fraction of what they are worth to other people that the thieves personally know or swapped for drugs
