what has being proud to be English got to do with it, it's the politicians, MPs, elected governments, police (not necessarily the ones on the front line) judges, our justice system, political elite etc that has let our country and its people down not England and how many people who can clearly see the state the country is in and the absolute disdain that politicians, on all political sides, have for British people will still go out and vote for the Tories and Labour??? There lies the problem.

Well it's not been helped by the Tories and their obsession with cutting the state to the bone. The NHS (or what's left of it because most of what we think of as the NHS is now private companies whose first concern is to make a profit) grabs the headlines, but even the legal system has been deliberately underfunded in an attempt to follow the American model in which a person notoriously gets the "justice" they can afford. The prisons are bursting at the seams, and mental health services have all but disappeared, so prison staff have to deal with more and more people who should be receiving psychiatric help and on top of that the privately run prisons pay their staff fuck all for the kind of situation they might find themselves in. Yes sentencing should be stricter, but where are you going to put all these little bastards?

It all began when you took the power away from the teachers and the parents from disciplining their children and gave all the power to the children. You need to give parents the right to do corporal punishment to these kids and teachers the power to get students suspended and expelled. But instead parents and teachers live afraid of being accused all sorts of things. Plus you soften the criminal justice system to the point when this kind of misjustice takes place. Plus it's also the parents faults. Many, many times when Teachers want to discipline students the parents always always take their children's side against the teachers. That is wrong. Parents and teachers need to work together to address the bad behavior in the part or these children not fight each other. Plus the laws must be hardened and punishments must be much harsher.

@lee-lc8oj11 ай бұрын
Planet earth mate, plus I haven’t exposed myself and I’m not lying and neither is my friend, 3 points and £100 fine is the minimum punishment you get for speeding in the U.K, the police can take a percentage of your weekly salary and give you more than 3 points depending on how fast you was going. I’m a professional lorry driver so I am familiar with the laws of the road, again, I suggest you do your research.

I am an immigrant and I ask you: fight for your land, fight against this type of judge, this government that betrays you, this police that does not defend you. You today do not need the enemy from outside to attack you... they are here inside and open the doors for any people to enter and your lives are transformed into this hell. It is revolting! What a lack of a statesman like Churchill these days!

Don't feel like an immigrant. Feel like you are at home or leave. If you cannot afford to leave, be aware that Britain hasn't belonged to Brits in a very long time, not in any way. I would go for option 2 though. It's only a matter of time until UK messes up your mental health. If you can at least afford some roof and simple food, go back. Sincere advice. Even if you are on a 100k a year here, I would still leave, honestly. This comment is not meant to provoke Brits. Just stating facts. If someone is going to try to respond to this, just know that I am unlikely to even see it. I usually use a different account to access YT and won't even see a notification.

The police later contacted me and said no investigation will take place. What is the point of all the CCTV cams on the bus!? Last summer my young neighbour knocked on my door, in tears and very scared, that someone threatened her with a knife, the police took over 4 hours to arrive, and despite the fact the police, had other witnesses and found the person, no action was taken, and it never went to court. Time and time again, the police are not fit for purpose and there is NO justice system in this pathetic country. The Met Police has a slogan 'Working for a Safer London' that is a joke!. 2 Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. 111 And say, “Praise be to God, who has not begotten a son, nor has He a partner in sovereignty, nor has He an ally out of weakness, and glorify Him constantly.” 57 Those who insult God and His Messenger, God has cursed them in this life and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a demeaning punishment. 72 They disbelieve those who say, “God is the Messiah the son of Mary.” But the Messiah himself said, “O Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord. Whoever associates others with God, God has forbidden him Paradise, and his dwelling is the Fire. The wrongdoers have no saviors.” 73 They disbelieve those who say, “God is the third of three.” But there is no deity except the One God. 222 And they ask you about menstruation: say, “It is harmful, so keep away from women during menstruation. And do not approach them until they have become pure. Once they have become pure, approach them in the way God has directed you.” God loves the repentant, and He loves those who keep clean.” 54 And Lot, when he said to his people, “Do you commit lewdness with open eyes? 55 Do you lust after men instead of women? You are truly ignorant people.” 56 But the only response of his people was to say, “Expel the family of Lot from your town. They are purist people.” 57 So We saved him and his family, except for his wife, whom We destined to be among the laggards. 58 And We rained upon them a rain. Miserable was the rain of those forewarned. 59 Say, “Praise God, and peace be upon His servants whom He has selected. Is God better, or what they associate?” 60 Or, who created the heavens and the earth, and rains down water from the sky for you? With it We produce gardens full of beauty, whose trees you could not have produced. Is there another god with God? But they are a people who equate. 61 Or, who made the earth habitable, and made rivers flow through it, and set mountains on it, and placed a partition between the two seas? Is there another god with God? But most of them do not know. 62 Or, who answers the one in need when he prays to Him, and relieves adversity, and makes you successors on earth? Is there another god with God? How hardly you pay attention. 63 Or, who guides you through the darkness of land and sea, and who sends the winds as heralds of His mercy? Is there another god with God? Most exalted is God, above what they associate. 64 Or, who originates the creation and then repeats it, and who gives you livelihood from the sky and the earth? Is there another god with God? Say, “Produce your evidence, if you are truthful.” 65 Say, “No one in the heavens or on earth knows the future except God; and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected.” 66 In fact, their knowledge of the Hereafter is confused. In fact, they are in doubt about it. In fact, they are blind to it. 67 Those who disbelieve say, “When we have become dust, and our ancestors, shall we be brought out? 68 We were promised that before, we and our ancestors-these are nothing but legends of the ancients.” 69 Say, travel through the earth, and observe the fate of the guilty.” 70 But do not grieve over them, and do not be troubled by what they plot. 71 And they say, “When is this promise, if you are truthful?” 72 Say, “Perhaps some of what you are impatient for has drawn near.” 73 Your Lord is gracious towards humanity, but most of them are not thankful. 74 And your Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they reveal. 75 There is no mystery in the heaven and the earth, but it is in a Clear Book. 76 This Quran relates to the Children of Israel most of what they differ about. 77 And it is guidance and mercy for the believers. 78 Your Lord will judge between them by His wisdom. He is the Almighty, the All-Knowing. 79 So rely on God. You are upon the clear truth. 80 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear the call if they turn their backs and flee. 81 Nor can you guide the blind out of their straying. You can make no one listen, except those who believe in Our verses; for they are Muslims. 82 And when the Word has fallen on them, We will bring out for them from the earth a creature which will say to them that the people are uncertain of Our revelations. 83 On the Day when We gather from every community a group of those who rejected Our revelations; and they will be restrained. 84 Until, when they arrive, He will say, “Did you reject My revelations without comprehending them? Or what is it you were doing?” 85 The Word will come down upon them for their wrongdoing, and they will not speak. 86 Do they not see that We made the night for them to rest therein, and the day for visibility? Surely in that are signs for people who believe. 87 On the Day when the Trumpet is blown, everyone in the heavens and the earth will be horrified, except whomever God wills; and everyone will come before Him in humility. 88 And you see the mountains, and imagine them fixed, yet they pass, as the passing of the clouds-the making of God, who has perfected everything. He is fully Informed of what you do. 89 Whoever brings a virtue will receive better than it-and they will be safe from the horrors of that Day. 90 But whoever brings evil-their faces will be tumbled into the Fire. Will you be rewarded except for what you used to do? 91 “I was commanded to worship the Lord of this town, who has sanctified it, and to Whom everything belongs; and I was commanded to be of those who submit. 92 And to recite the Quran.” Whoever is guided-is guided to his own advantage. And whoever goes astray, then say, “I am one of the warners.” 93 And say, “Praise belongs to God; He will show you His signs, and you will recognize them. Your Lord is not heedless of what you do.” 28 It is He who sent His Messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, to make it prevail over all religions. God suffices as Witness. 29 Muhammad is the Messenger of God. Those with him are stern against the disbelievers, yet compassionate amongst themselves. You see them kneeling, prostrating, seeking blessings from God and approval. Their marks are on their faces from the effects of prostration. Such is their description in the Torah, and their description in the Gospel: like a plant that sprouts, becomes strong, grows thick, and rests on its stem, impressing the farmers. Through them He enrages the disbelievers. God has promised those among them who believe and do good deeds forgiveness and a great reward. Read The Quran

I have to say Paul. The stuff like that is what pushed my family to move to the south of France. We lived in a small town in East hants, and in the year before we left our local cash point was stolen with a JCB 3 times. Every bus stop was smashed up, the library and community hall were vandalized and set on fire, all the Xmas lights and tree were destroyed and burnt down. Old folks were mugged in the streets, cars were vandalized and broken into. Mopeds and pushbikes were destroyed and dumped everywhere. Then my neighbour was stabbed by a 15yo in side his own house! The nearest police station was 20mins away, but the police never turned up in time for anything. The local schools were in special measures because the pupils were so bad and they couldn't find good teachers. It was disgraceful. Where we are now, is a town less than half the size with a full-time police station with 6 full-time police. There is zero theft, vandalism. Everywhere is neat and tidy because the council has full-time employees cleaning, gardening, repairing the roads (that are like billiard tables) and keeping all the amenities like street lamps and signs etc in mint condition. Two huge things for us is ALL the kids are polite and respectful! The schools are fantastic- our 12yo loves the school, loves his teachers and says nobody ever bullies or is disrespectful to him or the teachers. It's just an entirely different way of life and we could never return to the UK, and go back to the hatefulness, delinquency, disrepair, and depression that hard working families have to face all the time. We still talk to our friends from the UK most days and they tell us things are just getting worse, and they all wish they could leave too. It's just a sad state of affairs.

This is not an attempt to comfort you, but rather to make you aware that legal systems across the Europe have a pretty similar approach to human life. The thing is, if you are a member of majority, your life is just a matter of statistics. Most of us in Europe won't be too active if our own people get harmed. It looks slightly different once we look at minorities. In case of problems, private properties get damaged or destroyed, institutions alarmed, while politicians - disturbed and extremely involved. I don't want to make this lengthy, so just let me say that we are lazy cowards. We are our own worst enemies. A wise man once said - 'If you have much to lose, much will be taken from you'. Now think of your house, mortgage, credit score, car financing, job security, health insurance, pension and so on. This is the stone we all sit under, threatened that someone will take it away once we decide to crawl out and speak up. Individuals and groups, slowly turning our lives and wellbeing into hell, they don't care about any of the above-mentioned things. At the end of the day, cowards will pay to provide for them when the time comes.

If you have an honestly held belief that you or another, are in imminent danger, then you may use such force as is reasonable and necessary to avert that danger.' There are also decades of case law to refer to. Besides, we all know what the average person considers reasonable. If you don't see a psychiatrist.
@Norfolkbiker5011 ай бұрын
@@TheKillaGP actually it's very clear the definition of reasonable force is whatever measures you need to take to prevent someone from harming you or someone you are protecting (family members or anyone who can't protect themselves) however it does have to be proportionate, i.e. if an attacker is unarmed you can't really justify smacking them in the head with a baseball bat, on the other hand if the attacker has a knife then a baseball bat is fine. Another thing worthy of mention is that, assuming it doesn't happen in your own home, any weapon you use cannot be yours, if there's a hammer lying on a shelf nearby and you pick it up and hit them with it that's fine or if it belongs to the attacker and you take it from them and use it against them, again fine but you can't use something you have on or about your person because it's then a premeditated assault rather than a defence. Also off the attacker runs away you can't chase them down and continue to hit them because that then becomes a revenge attack. Obviously you will very likely have to explain your actions to a court and a defence lawyer will definitely try to paintbyou as the attacker but all you need to remember is that you didn't make this happen, they did.

An armed population is a group of people who knows the cost of a random attack is too high to attempt in general. You give so much power to the government and criminals. Also an unarmed population is at the mercy of government legislation because there is no ultimate recourse for a population.
