Wow, I grew up in Brighton at Higher Bevendean where we backed onto corn fields but moved to the westcountry with parents as a teenager. I've only been back twice when my kids were young and I'm nearly 70 now. I felt quite homesick seeing this, thank you. Its still beautiful especially the Pavilion. My grandad used to spend hours there as it reminded him of serving in India in the army. We must keep fighting guys, onward and upward!

Paul, I've been watching your videos for quite a while now, but this one was beautiful, mate. As a fellow UK resident, from Ireland, our two countries have never really seen eye to eye. As it turns out, we're the two eyes in the same head. If we don't want to lose that head, both literally & figuratively, then we must stand together. Tears streaming now mourning what we have lost. I love history and have been watching lots of KZbin videos of our past Kings and queens , medieval, Tudor etc and Time Team videos. We have thousands of years of British history but today we are expected to forget it or the media changes it to suit todays woke ideals. We should be proud of our rich history, other countries are proud of theirs. Watching these videos just brought home to me how important our British history is, if the government plans come in our kids and grandkids won’t be taught our rich history and that’s a shame. How can our kids feel patriotism or a sense of belonging to something great if they don’t know what’s gone before .Good luck everyone in 2025, I think we’re going to need it.
