Sky No Signal - How fix no signal issue

This fixed our signal problem so I am super grateful:-) £15.91. Result! The new LNB bracket didn't fit but I was able to reuse the old one and put the new LNB in that. I can even add another TV now. Thank you.

Good video. I think there is a weather shield you can pull down that covers the connectors and keeps them protected from rain and stuff.

The old sky boxes won't work over the next few weeks. Going out of service. You'll have to move to Sky Q. 👍🏻

Serious? I've heard nothing from sky and I'm on record and pause package only, on sky+ hd box and my lnb just packed in so buying one from Amazon but if sky plan to switch off signal???

@@charliegeorge. apologies, it'll be around September. There should be a message on your screen appearing about the change. If you don't see the message, contact Sky. Q is much better. They'll swap your box and LNB (new contract). The LNB for the old HD boxes won't work with Q. 👍🏻

@@charliegeorge. It's the standard older (white?) sky boxes not the sky + HD that are being cancelled. Sky Q is rubbish do not subscribe on that dude's recommendation; I've just cancelled it hence being on this page looking for a way to get old sky + working again. The UI is crap, so is the remote, you cannot set reminders, and if you have multiroom all recordings are merged. If you pause anything it will begin playing it again soon after like it has a mind of its own. Garbage product IME.

@@Jaap_ Ah got ya. Yes its the SD box signal being turned off. I'm staying on Sky + HD built in wifi as long as i can, and there's plenty out there second hand if needed.

Sky keep sending me texts about changing to a sky Q box i rang them up, they told me the Sky plus HD boxes wil be alright to use for a fair while yet.

Solid dish vs mesh. Get rid of mesh and buy solid satellite dish. It gives alot better signal. I had mesh, i'm happy to get rid of these cheap satellite dishes😊
