The Royal Class ships of Princess are my favorites on this line but they have surpassed the other 3 with the Sky Princess. She has a beautiful modern feel and the open area on most of all its venues make it even more inviting. Princess also listened to her cruisers by adding more pools. Excellent Video ! We are Princess's Elite Cruisers and have cruised on all their fabulous Royal Class Ships. (Royal, Regal & Majestic Princess). Sky Princess looks amazing as well with a few new design changes in certain areas and venues. Looking forward to cruising on the Sky in Dec.4th (3 night Short Inaugural Showcase) from Ft. Lauderdale and in April 11th for the (25 day Baltic/Russia Trans.) from Ft. Lauderdale to Copenhagen. We can't wait !!

We were on the inaugural voyage from Athens October 20, is this when you filmed this? It almost makes me sad, it’s a perfect showing of Sky, exactly what she looks like. Incredibly beautiful. I was so sad to leave her! Excellent footage guys.

Great video guys! Very detailed, and shows everything that you could want to know. I will be sailing on this ship eventually, as I like Princess cruises, but I do not get the appeal of the two Sky suites. I priced a week at $18,000 for two, but the fare does not include drinks, or any private areas of the ship. I sail mostly with MSC now in the Yacht Club, where for a week, prices are $5500 for two, and that includes all drinks, a butler, private pool, restaurant, lounge, concierge, and a lot more. I wish more ships would go this way instead of having larger suites that do not include anything else

I've been on Enchanted and loved it. I know Sky is much the same. I loved the ship. In general most things were better than most others ship I've been on (12 others). The only things I thought could be slightly better were: 1, The Retreat Pool is slightly too shallow for swimming and a foot deeper would be better. 2. There maybe should be a small room for older teens/younger adults - a few computer games, table football etc. As it is, once you get over 18 and are under 30, the ships is more geared up for adults esp during the day - which is fine, as people on it are not after Royal Caribbean! However, a small room would have been good at no loss to the overall ambience.

Thanks for such a great video, the ship looks superb and we have cruised on the older ones some 10 years ago so what a dramatic transformation, then the dress code was very strict on formal nights, has that relaxed in any way as other lines have done so as long as you are smartly dressed, a suit does add extra weight to your baggage now limited baggage allowance on flights hence my question...

Hey William. We always find Princess is a good mix of traditional and modern. The passengers change depending on the sailing. You will find a more mature crowd on the longer sailing and more families during the school holidays. We have always found the other passengers really welcoming and chatty when we have sailed with princess. :-)

My family and my sister's in-laws are going on a cruise in December on the Sky Princess! It looks beautiful! I think I saw on one of your videos that you can have breakfast in the main dining room. Do you have to dress in business casual for breakfsst and do they do lunch in there? I had NO idea you could get breakfsst in there. Thanks!

She looks awesome! Just a quick aside, I was on P&O's Aurora last week and went to the Chefs Table. It sounds a little expensive at £75 per head. But with 7 courses all with great wines I can say it was totally amazing and would thoroughly recommend it. I will definitely be trying it if it is available on Grand Princess next year :-)

We were on the Sky Princess a few years ago. We loved it then, but with the new refresh it looks even more amazing. However we wish they didn’t allow smoking in the casino. It just spoils the whole experience. They should get with the program.

Hey, It's depends what you are looking for. Yact Club is a "Ship with a ship" so you have a separate Bar, Restaurant and Pool Area just for Yacht Club guests. The Mini-Suites does not so you are using the same facilities as everyone else on the ship. If you are not bothered about separate facilities I think Princess has much better food and entertainment than MSC.
