Your window sky replacement was very interesting to watch! I learned by using the curve adjustment instead of the level adjustment. It saves you from roughly selecting the window and just selects your sky it could save you a step maybe.

Never thought about using the curves adjustment. Might have to try that out soon

Thanks man! That took a bit of time for me to come up. Before I was just using the smudge tool to push the edges in.

@@HunterLomayesva same..was using the smudge and sometimes blur and soft light blend mode to tame those pesky fringes

I love your tutorials and this one is super interesting. How well does the technique work with cloudy skies though? The example here of replacing a blue sky isn't really something that would be done 99% of the time. I wanna say as well, THANK YOU for showing a tricky house - trees outside, a lot of things blocking windows, railing wires etc. A lot of times tutorial seem to just focus on best case scenario photos
@HunterLomayesva Жыл бұрын
Depending on the detail of the sky it should be pretty easy. The whole technique is basically boiled down to dodging and burning so if it’s bright enough to dodge it should be fine.
