Sky Shield: Artanis Saves Augustgrad Capital on Korhal (Starcraft 2: Legacy of Void | Protoss)

Hierarch Artanis led his forces to Korhal at the behest of Dark Prelate Zeratul, who claimed the Keystone was on its surface. There he found the Terran Dominion under Commander Jim Raynor under attack from a faction of terrans called the Moebius Corps, who were thralls for the hybrid. During the two commander's exchange, Moebius Corps destroyed the atmospheric stabilizers on the Sky Shield space platform orbiting the planet, sending it spiraling toward Korhal. The impact of the platform would have been large enough to destroy all of Augustgrad. Artanis volunteered to clear the plummeting platform so Raynor's repair crews could stabilize it.
Artanis and his forces warped into the platform to find Moebius Corps suicidally defending it from any attempt to repair it. Artanis and his forces pushed through the Moebius Corps defenses, with Raynor dropping in repair crews and reinforcements as the platform was cleared. EMP scramblers were utilized by the Moebius Corps on the platform to disable the protoss's plasma shields, but the protoss forces destroyed them and raided their solarite cores. After all five stabilizers were secure, Sky Shield's orbit was maintained and the descent was halted, and it was placed in the hands of Admiral Matt Horner... The crystals are have a pattern, they didn't grew randomly from the ground but as if someone randomly or more accurately, placed them in hexagonal boxes. Likely for maintenance. Normally you'd expect them to be already processed into plates, screws, and whatnot, but someone seems to be too lazy in the workplace, even in the future some people are too lazy to work.

Who the fuck does not use Evasive warp on Battlecruisers? The most expensive Terran unit. Specially in PVP. Seeing someone who does not warp... even if they are my enemies, kills my braincells. Zero energy because of Yamato gun or other abilities? Excusable. Max energy and no cooldown? Wtf are you doing? Unless that player is Florencio, I'm running the fuck off because that means he has an economy bigger than the Battlecruisers I can blow up.

She made no actual contribution to the story while always opposing the decisions of those that were making progress in a meaningful way. Racist Rohana, i could tolerate since she was understandably asleep for millenia so the changes around her were hard to adjust to. But Selendis was a stupid idea. It's weird to try and rationalize how she got the position of High Executor in the first place, she's Artanis' student sure but her character personality doesn't make sense as to why she was chosen outside of hella Nepotism. She sees Zeratul and orders others to "arrest the traitor", when he was never actually classified as a criminal and was the one that led the Khalai to safety anyway. She hesistates on cutting her nerve cords because why would she even hesitate when she's been forced into killing innocents all around the Sector under the will of Amon? She was aware, she was concious about it, just couldn't do anything about it. She was no help in defeating Amon and when a Primal Kerrigan asks Artanis to meet with her and Jim, AFTER her and Artanis went on a quest together that led to them discovering that all the Xel'naga are dead, she decides to say "Nah i think she's lying". She's just an all around Karen bitch for the entire game. They shoulda just went with Vorazun from the get go. Because in contrast to Selendis, Vorazun was actually an amazing addition to the story.

There are awesome scenes in SC2, probably no one would ever dispute the Warriors cinematic, or Alone, but the overall writing is cheesy and quite bad. It's like being written by teenage novices... for teenagers.

I feel bad for the people on Korhal and especially Augustgrad. First, the planet is bonbarded by nukes from the Confederacy. Then, the UED invades the planet, taking Augustgrad in a hard, destructive and bloody battle. Afterwards another extremely bloody battle between the zerg-protoss-Dominion alliance gets rid of the UED presence. Immediately after, yet another extremely bloody battle ensues where Kerrigan destroys a lot of Arcturus Mengsk's forces, kills Duke and kills a crap tonne of protoss. A few years later, Kerrigan invades the planet again to depose of Arcturus Mengsk and now Augustgrad is invaded by Moebius Corps. The Dominion has received countless other spankings alongside this. How does it manage to remain so powerful?
