How does sky stream perform regarding “recording” live sports? Let’s say I’m away on holiday for a few weeks and I’ve added F1 to playlist. (Build up, Race & Ted’s Notebook) Does it expire? Do I have access to playback the entire broadcast or does it refer me to highlights from another app or channel?

If you add F1 to Playlist as suggested then Sky Stream will record it (live) without a problem and it will not expire, it will remain in your Playlist until you remove it. On your returm from holiday everything that you recorded (Build up, Race & Ted's Notebooks) will be ready and waiting for you to watch in your playlist. In a nutshell you will have access to the entire broadcast. What I am unsure about is say for example, an F1 race is due to start at 3pm and finish at 5pm with Ted's Notebook due to follow at 5pm until 5:30pm but as you know sometimes races are delayed due to bad weather or accidents meaning a race finishes later than scheduled. My question is will Sky Stream record Ted's Notebook which now starts at 6pm instead of the original start time of 5pm because the race over ran its schduled time. One thing I have noticed with Sky Stream is that it does not have split screen for sports. For instance, say you have two important football matches occurring at the same time meaning one is flicking between two channels which can be annoying, before with Sky they used to have split sccreen for sports so you could see two matches at the same time on your screen but not with Sky Stream. It is not a deal breaker but it would be nice if Sky brought that feature back.

@@toriasummers2670 Mainly, you can't record anything. You can, sometimes, add progs to your playlist and hope that the streaming provider has them available. If not, you're taken to their website. Which anyone can do anyway. You rely on the 3rd party website to remember your options and where you were in a prog. This often fails, and is only as good as the site itself. I was told that Sky keeps the playlist selected in the Cloud for future viewing. This isn't true. Many of the progs I've had on the list that I've tried to watch have bounced back to the start of the prog showing the adverts, more than 3 mins each time over again. This just for a couple of seconds fast forward on back. This includes Sky channels. The add to Playlist function has not been available at times. When watching a prog, you can't add to playlist. I have a measured 105mbs connection. It does dip. The last time I called Sky, they said I should contact my broadband provider. Basically, ti's been misrepresented in the press. Doesn't work as it should and, when you want to relax watching something on TV, you don't know what, if anything, you're going to get.
