Finally booked a 12 night on the Constellation out of Tampa in November. As a solo cruiser suites are out of my reach right now, but I love seeing how the other half lives. Beautiful room and ship. Always enjoy your videos.

Thank you, Rick! I am glad you are enjoying the videos. I am considering doing a solo cruise myself this year. I want to make a series of videos on that experience. However, I am noticing how hard it is to travel solo. Single cabins are booked up for the next two years and only choice is to pay double (at least). I feel your pain.

@@tomsunday I will pay double because I get the logic, but any more than that is a no for me. Celebrity still has some cruises that are priced higher, but not all of them. I've actually considered MSC for a cruise in Europe because with them I can afford the higher end suites and from what I have seen on here, that greatly elevates the experience. Keep up the good work and hope to see you onboard someday.

I found a CL Bigelow lip balm just this weekend in a purse I haven’t used since last year and now I remember where I got it! Love those suites. Can’t wait to sail in one again on the Ascent.

I am glad you liked the video! I hope you enjoy your cruise next week. The Retreat team has reserved seats for suite guests at the theater. If you show up 15 minutes before the show, they will escort you to the reserved area. It's about 10 to 15 rows from stage (right-hand side). Just talk with your retreat host and they will explain all of the details. Jonathan is great. Ask for him and he will take care of you. Apex has a great retreat team. You are in good hands. Cheers!

I enjoy my balcony when the chairs are comfortable. Those chairs were ridiculous. Why would they put small chairs on a SS balcony? When I spend that much money, I expect larger cushioned seats or a cushioned couch with a nice table to eat a snack or small meal like the older ships have in this category. With those chairs I already know I’d spend less time on the balcony so I wouldn’t even bother to book a SS. May as well save my money and book a regular balcony.

Nice nails Tom.🫣Only thing that wouldn't work for the OG is stepping into the shower. 4 left knee surgeries and 2 replacements making tub , showers not work for me.🥴

Thank you, OG! I had the nails done especially for this video! I think some of these suites have special tubs for people who have trouble getting in and out of the shower. Don't quote me on this but I will double check for you.

@@oldgoat50 I don't mind at all. I am here to help you, so ask away. Sky suite is the cheapest Retreat room you can get. There are approximately 176 suites on this ship. Most of them are Sky suites. Price really depends on supply/demand. I noticed that they are usually more than double the price of verandas. You can find a good deal at times but usually they are 2 or 3 times the price of a veranda. Here is a quick example. Celebrity Beyond (Nov 2 - 9) to Western Caribbean suite guarantee is 4K per person. Keep in mind that includes access to Retreat areas, food in Luminae, unlimited drinks etc. I have detailed videos about each of those areas in the oven. They will give you a very good idea of what you can expect for that price.

Old goat, I've had both hips replaced and both knees done too. I can't imagine getting in and out of a tub. Do have one of those tubes where it has a door to get in? Oh my I just saw the shower, never in a million years could I get in and out of that! Best wishes for a healthy future.
