Sky Team Solo Playthrough: Flying Solo in Oslo

This video just sold a Sky Team kit. I love Sky Team, but my 2player partner does not care for it, so I assumed it was destined to remain on my shelf unplayed. This is the reason I never upgraded components. I never thought to check for a variant, but this is so simple I already gave it a play and this game has new life. Thanks for the vids and I look forward to your kit arriving.

Great play-through. That last roll can be pretty clutch sometimes. That was my experience with this solo-varient. But a better pilot would not have set themselves up for that situation. Haha.

@randito2387 Haha you’re probably right, but I also suspect a better pilot would, y’know, talk to their co-pilot 🤣 There is a little bit of a sort of push you luck element at play, but it’s not much different than the 2-player game in my opinion.

Great playthrough, thanks. I've played this only Solo - but using the 'Short Staff' Variant. I'm not sure if it's easier or more difficult than the way you played. I've got up to and completed Hartsfield-Jackson so far. It's a terrific game full of tension and 'Oh, No!' moments - I've failed the first attempts at the last two Airports but got it right on the second attempt (I found managing the kerosene really tricky for some reason and simply misread how to play with Interns the first play) Looking forward to flying to Prague next time out!

@DonnyRam1961 Oh, I don’t know about the short staff variant-where did you find it? I like this solo mode that I demoed, but I’d certainly like to give it a try! Have you done any of the airports with the 60-second module? (Can’t remember which airports that included). That is TENSE haha! Reminds me of playing Lux Aeterna (check out my Lux Aeterna Shepard Tone playthrough if you’re not familiar with that game, it’s solo only and very tense and fun, like Sky Team with a shot of adrenaline)
