Skyactiv + twin-screw = lovely sounds

I've gotten many requests for more sounds, so here are some clips that showcase the fantastic whine of this twin-screw supercharger.
I'll try to get more/better footage in the future, especially from external.

Soo happy I found your channel man this is SICK, can you make a video on what problems you ran into when tuning and potential fixes? I don’t know how to tune at all and I’m guessing a project like this for a beginner like me is gonna be a really big task

Remote tuning is included with the kit, though it's a very conservative base tune, and this is such steady mild boost that the engine runs fine on stock tune with the supercharger (as long as you switch the spark plugs and run premium gas), but it won't have as much power until it is tuned. I'm actually working on a custom remote tune through DRTuned, to extract more power from this setup!

I'm not sure it's quite at 300hp wheel, yet, probably 300hp at the crank right now. Working on extracting more power from custom remote tuning with DRTuned. AND just found out I can go from 64mm to 61mm pulley and gain +1.5psi... so I think I can get it to 300WHP or more Also because the power band is so wide and instant, it feels way faster than that peak HP number properly describes. Even though my Mazda 6 is pretty big with long wheelbase, it still only weighs 3200lbs, so I'll be getting close to a 10:1 ratio of power to weight!!! Never thought I could go this far with this car!

all in about 4000usd, I installed it myself, there are guides and even videos walking through installation, so it's really not too bad. If you have to pay for installation it will cost quite a bit, probably 1500-3000usd depending on the shop you take it to.

I’ve got a manual mazda6 and was looking to increase power. Yours seems to be automatic. Any one have word if the manual can handle the additional power?

manual transmission seems to handle it fine, there are dozens of Mazdas with manual transmission running the supercharger now without issue

I replaced the muffler with Thrush Hush Turbo 2.5" muffler, with simple center exit turn-down (was being very cheap when I did it, right after buying the car 4 years ago). Also, replaced the 2nd Cat with a high flow 200 cell FlowMaster 2.5" catalytic converter (in both cases just had a local shop cut out the old and weld in the new). Very happy with the result, though I always intended to get a prettier exhaust, I've come to love the sound and lightweight and the look of confusion from people when my car sounds like it does, but effectively has a hidden exhaust LOL
