Yes, Minecraft is a game targeted towards children, but just like my favorite show, The Amazing World of Gumball, that doesn't mean that only kids can experience it. It's appeals to a wide audience, and that's ok. I think it's beautiful that Minecraft appeals to so many different people.

I think the number is so high because you have a whole bunch of dormant accounts who may have bought minecraft back in 2012, and they grew up. 24 is probably the average age of people who have bought minecraft, but I wonder if it changes if you look at active players.
