I was reliving KFAD a few nights ago and learned that there's a niche far deeper than this one where people percieve iteachvader as some sort of douchebag, by preying on insecurities or etc. Just wanted to say that it's a bit late, but the KZbin Poop culture has forever had a lasting impression on the internet as a whole, and the YTPMV community, though dwindling is a great one that has brought force diamonds such as this one. In conclusion: please leave creators like iteachvader alone, though some creators interact more with their audience, creating something, no matter it's quality is difficult work and it's impossible to cater to everyone. If a creator makes something different than you want them two, either find a community that caters more towards things you like, or put in the effort to make one yourself. Remember an independent creator generally makes things that they enjoy making. A community forms around and is shaped by that, and NOT the other way around. Thank you for listening to my TedTalk.

ok, this has transcended a mere ytpmv. ive listened to this song regularly for the past year and a half, and i think im just now realizing exactly why i like it so much: its sentence mixing is near perfect, and is more cohesive than how i talk most of the time. this is the perfect duet. its about coming to conclusions based on trying to make a stupid song about skydiving, of all things. the unrelated clips and lines nest together perfectly to create a complete story with cohesion and depth. integrating the tails and robotnik plot was done geniusly, and the parts where they sing together just sound beautiful. and this is to exclude the instrumental from the equation. its shift from major to minor key sounds so satisfying and complete. this backing track is better than most youd hear on the radio nowadays. its so nice to listen to. the visuals are silly but fitting for the song, and it just blends so perfectly with the audio. this is the pinnacle of song production. this is one of my favorite songs ive ever heard, unironically. this is the best work done on this channel, and some of the best work, musically speaking, ever produced. i dare say that this is a perfect song, with proper cohesion and integration of both plot points and visuals with the song. this song, its despicably monstrous, and golly, im serious.

You know, this song made me consider a new way of looking at AoStH as a story of a quirky inventor, Dr. Robotnik, wanting to create a bond with his adopted son, Tails, and in order to be able to grant his every wish, he tries to take over Mobius. Meanwhile there's this kid from the neighborhood, Sonic, that Tails hangs out a lot with and who Robotnik considers a bad influence on his son. Eventually, Robotnik grows tired of his conquest plans and seeks a simpler way to have fun and hang out with Tails.

The thing I find amazing about this is that the voice actor of Robotnik, Long John Baldry, had a decades long career in the music industry. He was hugely influential in British blues-rock scene in the 60s, and recording in multiple genres all the way to 1980 when he moved to Canada. He sadly died in 2005, but due to the work of iteachvader, he's still the main vocalist in completely new, awesome songs, that are created over a decade after his death. It's pretty amazing when a singer's musical career continue on that long.

I'm convinced you are the best person living at YTPMVs. For one, the sentence mixing is so flawless that, despite the fact that a single sentence is often spliced together from about 4 different sources, it flows together so SO DAMN naturally that the only way you can even tell it is is by seeing the video cut from scene to scene (unless you just happen to be unbelievably familiar with the source material) You perfectly pace your splices (in combination with slightly altering the speed of the dialog, so that the rhythm feels natural on the beat. The sound mixing/leveling of your beats and the spliced dialog is perfect. On a related note, You create melodies in the beats that match the inflections of the dialog, creating the illusion of singing despite the fact that no auto-tune is being used. What's more is you even use a Sega Genesis sound font as a reference to where the IP originated. Your YTPMVs always tell a consistent story and every single piece of spliced dialog relates to and progresses said narrative. In fact you take it a step further and create lore through your videos which stay consistent though every single release. (My favorite being that Tails is Robotnik's adopted son. Keep up the great work, man.

I actually don't use a soundfont as a reference for anything when making this style of YTPMV. It's mostly thrown together on a whim, I just take my time with the mixing to ensure it flows smoothly. Having an ear for music certainly helps when finding the right voice lines to build a lyric. I play back a lot of the dialogue mentally while listening to the music I create, essentially building the song in my head as I go.
