The only unfortunate thing about Eternal Darkness is that a lot of the really crazy "effects" that happen are designed with old tech in mind like how it "Crashes" and how it "Changes the channel" but in ways that only an old TV would really make. The meta effects are the best and it's a shame they can't work on modern tech.

If I didn't care about context within the game he's playing I would watch a normal edit. Isn't the point of a long edit to conserve the full context of the stream? All you're doing is cutting space between Jerma speaking. I assume everyone watching this video also has their monitor turned off as you probably don't care at all about whats happening and are only interested in hearing Jerma talk.
