Ok. By far the BEST review of these highlighters. Holy hell so helpful! I have the Space Age highlighter and it was worth EVERY PENNY. I actually wear it as an inner corner highlight daily and it looks 4 different colors depending on the light. I want to get all of them. I wish they would make more like space age tho since that ones so unique, like a blue pink cool tone in it would be incredible

I have been carefully combing through all the kaleidos space age highlighters reviews online since black Friday to pick out the best ones to try for my own collection later this year and this, by far, has been the MOST USEFUL video omg thank you SO MUCH, Skye!! If I'm not mistaken I think the Amazon brand (thats where I've always bought it from anyway) UCANBE has a good dupe for Lazer glazer. I'll go through my highlighter palettes and find which palette it's in and update this comment. 👌 may not be an exact match but very similar

i am glad you mentioned their staying power! I am looking for a new everyday highlighter plus some fun ones so these interested me but I wasn't sure if they lasted or not. I'm sad comet catcher doesn't work for you, I think i might still try it out since they reformulated but i'm worried. Your video really showed all of the undertones and shifts so well!

Solar sailor and sky walker are the next ones I'm picking up. I got the electric turquoise, moon cruiser, and the reformulated comet catcher during the black Friday sale last year and honestly they deserve every once of hype they get . I cried during my first impressions cause I had never seen something so beautiful.

I have all but og Mars Melter and Comet Catcher and I looooove all of them. I can even make Laser Glazer work on my pale ass face if I pair it with peachy glowy blush, it's dreamy 🥰

I believe the new packaging (except for the prophecy) is magnetic, so you can remove the pans if you want :)

Could you please let me know if Moon Cruiser has glitter particles? Are they visible when on cheeks? In the swatches it looks like it doesn't have glitter. I also love your nail polish. Which one is it?

A good dupe for the space age prophecy is terra moons astral! It isn't identical formula wise but they are similar & both shift from orangey peach/gold to green! 😍 I will forever be bummed that I didn't pick up lazer glazer when it still existed. Green highlights are my fav & there are so few good ones! Most pull very gold. Out of the 6 kaleidos highlighters I own, shockingly diamond dasher is probably my fav with moon cruiser a very close second. Og mars melter is third. This was great, ty Skye!

@@viopiio @viopiio ok so my thoughts have definitely changed over the past year & I've come to the conclusion that green highlights are incredibly difficult to find! Almost every one I've gotten either has a strong gold presence, or pulls more blue/teal than green. The best green highlights are going to be iridescent multichrome "eyeshadows" such as Lightyear from terramoons, or Glint from Clionadh, or Proteus from devinah. Or you can use iridescent duochromes however those are more likely to leave a white or powdery cast. It's worth noting that the iridescent multichrome shades also tend to have strong shifts of gold or gold & blue as well as green. If I was forced to pick one highlight in particular that looks the most "just" green, it would have to be illamasqua diety. There are others like "envy" from Kristen Leigh cosmetics & many other brands (devinah, Clionadh, bitterlace beauty) but for some reason diety is the most green highlight that doesn't leave a cast on me. I hope that helps 🤗💚

You can get rid of the hard pan by lightly scraping the top hard layer off with an eyelash spoolie.

I bought the whole set but missed Laser Glazer. I bug Kaleidos on social media to reissue it! Have you seen the new highlighter by Kaleidos called Gifted? SO pretty like Prophecy but more pink.

I wish they'd make a new laser glazer but with a fair base so my pale olive self could have a green highlight. I thought about getting it before they discontinued but it looked too dark for me. Though a green highlight would be amazing!

I will say, the eyeshadow Sugies from Devinah is an irridescent pink with a bright green sheen and I use that on my cheeks ALL THE TIME and it's perfect! It's not a dupe for Lazer Glazer by any means but it's not got really any base colour so it can work for everyone!

Also, while not a highlighter, ColourPop's Moonshine SSS is pretty similar from what I can see to Lazer. It has that green/reddish shift to it

You're welcome! Ray Rider is a lot more natural whereas the Prophecy one is VERY intense due to the shifts!

Well i dont own laser glazer but i saw this review where someone compared it to the green to gold shade in the pat mcgrath mothership 5 (the one with the reds) and it seemed like a decent dupe for the kaleidos one the kaleidos was a lil more green but very close in the shift with almost transperant base rosy base but heres the kicker moira has this single shadow called saturn that is a dupe exact dupe for that shade in the pat mcgrath (i have the pat mcgrath pallette and compared it to the moira) and its only 7 dollars its so beautiful and creamy wish someone who had both laser glazer and that shade from moira would compare them but alas.

Lazer glazer kind of reminds me of jeffree star cosmetics money honey highlighter. I don't personally support his brand anymore but that's the first thing that popped in my head.
