those panning at the start are not needed i know you are trying to be in the bond mode but that camera movement is just confusing and not that well executed . the video and info is nice as a bond fan. thanks

Black Chukkas are the best investment anyone can make in shoes. I've got a pair of Italian ones and I wear them with everything, in any season (and I live in Canada), the soles are awesome on ice. If I recommend buying one piece of footwear whether you're in college (like me), working or anything, Black chukkas are the best looking, most versatile shoes you can buy. I like the rug too.

The danite soul is perfect in weather conditions where it´s moisty outside. I expected this 009 guy to jump on top of the train though, which didn´t live up to my expectations. Loakes 1880´s line is made in UK with the same goodyear welted technique and has over 200 moments, and cost half of what a C&J shoe if you can not afford it. I own both brands, and I am happy with both of them. It can not yet say anything about the quality of the craftmanship because I am very picky with all of my shoes and let them rest, but I would love to see an expert break them down. I think it is important to begin to invest in at least 4 high quality shoes for different occasions when you build up your wardrobe.

Shoes are never an investment, don’t fool yourself. Accept the reality and enjoy the boots!

Sorry, not a fan of the boot, but I want a pair of Islays. Shoes are never an investment? My work boots protect my feet. If you don't buy cheap shoes, you will have a better looking and better feeling shoe that can stay in style and be repaired for decades. Ivo Kazakov, I have cordovan C&J shoes. Waxes and polishes just sit on the shoe and never penetrate. Saphir Renovateur, brushing and finish with a women's nylon/stocking. Kevin K. Each last shape fits different. Remember the sizes are UK. FC BAYERN MUNCHEN. Change the laces to ones with beeswax on them or wax your own. Churchs was sold to Prada and now may make cheaper junk. The family that owned Churchs bought Cheaney. Pliner is glued sole, fashion junk. It will not last and either will their style. I have glued soled shoes, but I bought them cheap and I know they won't last a the glue will crack. The leather is superior on my cheaper shoes compared to Pliner.

Just bought the shoes at crockett & jones London. They are so comfortable. Also got a heads up of witch c&j shoes Bond going to wear in Spectre:) great channel!!!

$650 boots are not an investment. Some people have the means to justify them, that is not my problem. The problem is the pathetic amount of time/money/effort you put into maintaining these.

I'm always pointing out to friends, That i owned my Tetburys long before Skyfall was even a glmour in Sam Mendes eye :) great boots though, if a bit of a pain to keep looking shiny. The nubuck finish scars easily, but is also very easily recovered. Generally if you wear these shoes you have to accept that you'll pick up little marks through the day. A genuinely great all season boot in the UK though.

Fun video. But Tetbury is pronounced tet-bree. The stress falls on the first syllable.

I live in Northampton shire myself, we have many shoe shops and factories here, Joesph Cheaney and Sons are worth a look as well as Churchs.

How do you take care those boots? I got a pair and they don't take creams nor wax. Looking into more info about the boots shows that they are made from Waxed Calf leather and I can't really find anything online about how to treat those boots. I tried cream and next day the cream sits on top of the leather as fine black dust and when I tried with wax nothing happens and they don't get the shine regular calf shoes of mine do. If any of you guys know some tricks please let me know as I am getting frustrated with the boots and I really like them

Saphir Medaille d'Or Renovateur and a quality horsehair brush work very well on mine. I get a solid shine just from that product (which is more a conditioner). I apply, let sit maybe ten minutes, and buff off. I've also used Saphir cream polish with success but honestly the results with Renovateur have been solid enough.

You look just like him, money well spent. I can't seem to find the reviews of guns and ammo, though. I know it's mostly Walther PPKs but what kind of ammo does Daniel use? You should get one of those ballistic gel manequins and show us 007's shooting technique. And wasn't there a bullet made from ice in one of the movies, it'd be interesting to see if it really melts so rapidly.

The next actor playing Bond will be using the Walter PPS according to the Carte Blanche book.

This question is not about the boots, although I bought a pair after watching this review, it's about the Barbour coats. Do you happen to know if the reproofing process is any different between the sylkoil finish and the waxed finish? I only see the thornproof wax from Barbour, and my To Ki To coat has instructions for reproofing with thornproof wax, even though it came with a sylkoil finish. Any insights would be much appreciated.
