Just a slight criticism as a fellow film maker, the action scenes seemed a bit too fast paced and it was hard keeping track of certain elements, an addition of some more shots and framings would've helped and just extended some scenes. Otherwise, loved the story, animation and voice acting, love love LOVE

I'm not an arm maker, but I do know that saxxys are only allowed to go for 5 minutes and so the scenes in them, especially action, are usually shortened

1: You cut out a lot of good scenes from the original 2: The original FemScout model was a bit better Besides that, this was amazing, beautiful cinematography, the fight scenes you did have where nice, and the voice acting was a straight upgrade.

Well, for now best 2014 saxxy! Animation quality - 10/10 (Really it's like professional studio's short. No clipping, realistic body movement, Valve's employees could teach some things from You) Lightning quality - 10/10 (Characters are always well separated from the background, no visible SSAO bugs so characters look really smooth and not chunky) Custom map - 9/10 (only reason why it's not 10 it's because whole house had textures not in TF2 style, other than that... perfect) DustyOldRoses voice - 11/10 (as always her voice always fit for Femscout perfectly) Dat clouds - 10/10 and for overall score: +10 for using Blender :D If You ask me, You will get saxxy for sure, the only question is... Will it be also saxxy for overall?

The setting of this reminds me of an old videogame I played on a friend's computer for all of about an hour, years ago. The whole floating islands thing and finding the pyro just made something click but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Okay just saying I usually HATE fem scouts-- but here she didn't seem odd like most do, she seemed just generally human and cool I guess? Hard to explain; but this Fem Scout is a 10/10 from me lmao. Also loved how Engineer was all protective or whatever. Knew the Pyro was gonna save em' all and die but it was really heartwarming haha.

If engineer could survive a direct hit from a... Direct Hit, how can Pyro not die in that blast? A rocket has shrapnels that are actually designed to tear through flesh, while that lob of dynomite is simply used to clear caves and such. Engineer would have been more likely to die than Pyro. So... it’s pretty evident that that last scene is the two of them witnessing Pyro’s appearance.
