A Compliment to you ! Just got my SKYHUNTER today and began watching your vids. They were detailed, and VERY helpful . My "bird" though has a one-piece fuselage. Besides laminating all the foam, I plan to add trike landing gear with nose wheel tied to rudder for R.O.G. since my club field has a BEAUTIFUL 400 ft x 20 ft tarmac runway!

I think I'm going to add a thin layer of expoy base thinned with 90% rubbing alcohol so the adhesive adhears better. It smells ok and is user friendly. Thanks for the video....10 year bumb here.

Wish you would revisit your excellent build vids and tell about adding landing gear, nag / running lights / strobes and maybe comment on replacing LG wheels this "bird" with floats for R.O.W. / amphibious flying.

Weldwood contact cement, it usually comes in a small can and I use an acid brush to apply it

Can you link me to what kind of contact cement you are using? That sounds like a good idea to try, as I live in MN, and I have that same Velcro problem of coming loose in the winter, and hot glue only works marginally well... Thanks!

Hi The video is very helpful but i don't think that you should use contact cement glue. In my skyhunter soft the foam and now i may have to buy another kit. Good luck.

Could you use epoxy, BONDIC, PRO-BOND, or even VELCRO. I might use laminate inside the servo bay or glue thin plywood inside the servo bay, then use contact cement between the wood and servo to prevent the foam from softening.

Hi, Quick question. So I built a skyhunter and flew it for the 1st time. It flies nice and stable. Unfortunately it has a tendency to tip stall once it gets between 0 and 15 miles per hour. It actually tip stalls really bad and I cannot seem to figure out why. I have everything well balanced from front to back and from left to right so I am pretty positive it's not that. I am not sure what else would be causing the issue. Very disappointed

Not sure, but probably to make it easier to get to servos, receiver, batteries and internal wiring. Might make it easier when adding environmental sensors, telemetry transponder, and gyro.

The best foam glue for: epo, eps, Depron, etc. is Hands Down "Beacon Foam Tac". Better then Gorilla Glue any day of the week. Try it, get back with me - you'll see. Happy Flying. :)
