The reference is just “detune speed” basically when you detect the key of the track using the key finder there will be something that says A=… so if it says A=438 put the reference on 438, usually every beat will be 440 but you gotta match the detune of your vocals to the detune speed of the beat. It’s not a big difference at all just makes it fit a little better

Damn it’s crazy I been using this shit & not even “using” this shit lol. I always have my note transition & speed turned up hella high so it’s never even correcting anything. That’s probably why people say my auto tune sounds weird, I could just do it without Autotune & it would sound better. I think I only have 1 actual song where I did the auto tune correct & it’s my biggest one. 😂

If FL studio, than record into the track mixer. Than drag the autotune into a line on the right hand side like you do the parametric EQ, Hope that helps
