When I was a kid (around 8 or 9) playing Spyro's adventure, I encountered a glitch during the final boss which I could actually fairly regularly replicate. I called it silver 0 as a kid and it happens when you take lethal damage the exact moment the cutscene plays where Kaos switches heads. Your health bar turns grey (or silver) and your hp is locked at 0, but you're still alive and now you are immune to damage.

My best experience with Trap Team was whenever I was playing through the game at the same time as my friend (I was playing on hard and he was playing on medium) We were having a race, but I made the rule that we could ban each other from using Skylanders. However if I banned one of his, he got to ban three of mine (simply because I have entire shelves of Skylanders and he only has like 20) And the first thing he did after I made that rule was ban me from all of my trap masters, and throughout the game would ban all of the good Skylanders I was using. Which means that I practically had to play through the game on hard with only cores from giants and SSA. In the end I used Flameslinger to run through the entire game and shred through most of the levels. However he won because the difficulty jump on the final boss from medium to hard is huge, I was only a few minutes behind, but it was still an extremely memorable experience that I will always remember.

Personally I think Stealth Elf is the most overpowered Skylander in the first game. The blade path makes her do an absurd amount of damage, she’s able to move really quickly with her spin jump move that also does damage and then she’s able to heal herself every few seconds. I used her to do all the time challenges and to get the achievement where you defeat Kaos without swapping out a Skylanders cause she just shreds the bosses health down so fast. I remember that I could spawn kill some of the bosses before they could do anything. I think she also has a smaller hit box than Drobot and is able to turn and move around easier. She has an attack that can attack all surrounding enemies. Drobot does have range attack over Stealth Elf and can technically move faster than her with his flying ability he does require a bit more of setting up your hits and running away from the enemies when they get to close. I think she was also pretty good on hard mode for giants but on Nightmare she didn’t work out as much lol

stealth elf, drobot and double trouble were all super broken in the first two games, idk who came to the conclusion that swarm was the best skylander in giants (personally i think hes mid at best) but the DPS and positioning those 3 could do were insane (double trouble can lock onto enemies and strafe away from attacks)

Which version? There's multiple versions of her, my personal favorite of course being Elite Stealth Elf. Her elite version has over 2,000 HP along with her self healing.

I have attempted Skylanders Giants Nightmare mode with only 1 life and starting with a reset skylander. I chose Pop Fizz. He's really versatile with lobbing potions at mid-range and beast mode for getting close. Most importantly his purple potions can draw aggro so he is extremely good for a challenge like that. I think the farthest I've gotten is Chapter 6 so far. TL;DR Pop Fizz is built better. Also mad respect for still making skylanders content. Some people are holding the community up. I consider you one of them.

its really easy to notice that chapter 6 has a huge difficulty spike for some reason, "yeah lets put the end game enemies in this one level early in the game, great idea"

@@Obsidian8R fr fr. The one thing Pop Fizz lacks is speed. Dodging stuff isn’t his expertise. He’s good at keeping his distance and staying safe in other ways but he’s no flameslinger. Getting hit by anything in that level is basically a death sentence.

5:00 on the Wii version (aka the original) the shark’s slow-down radius is much wider making it easier to dodge. In fact, it could really be preferable to play the first two games on Wii or Wii u as they were to consoles they were originally intended for, ensuring all mechanics are working as intended. (Except for 3 stars in Sky scooner docks, that was a bug)

That actually isn’t a bug, it is possible to 100% Sky Schooner Docks on the Wii. You just have to take out a lot of enemies during the turret sections since they count as part of the enemy goal.

for Spyro's adventure, Camo is absolutely broken for the shark attack, because he dissapears underground for his watermelon abillity, and you can even get a few I-frames during the dive, you can get away with 0 damage, even healing up to full just using Camo, at 12 yrs old I beat shark attack only taking 24 damage on Camo

For spyros adventure the final boss fight has that bug with eruptor so a counter is being basically point blank with eruptor when he dies so you immediately absorb the food

skylander 1 with drobot, skylander 2 with flashwing (wall crystals are infinite self-healing anywhere), skylander 3 with night shift (two extra lifes anywhere on every level), for the other games i dunno 🗿 but for clarity, you NEVER want to use a giant, the massive hitbox is terrible

the reason you were low in skylanders spros adventure at the end was because theevil minions attack during the cutscene as seen in the video. you arent invincible during the cutscene so they just attacked during the scene.

For ssa 360, it still uses the wiis controls, however the nunchuck has the 8 segmsnts to keep your stixk in, while other consoles dont. You can also move with the dpad, so the movment is locked to 8 directions

Crazy i followed this game from the first time they announced a new spyro game. I was in the 6th grade and couldn't wait then 2 years later im now going into HS and loved this game even as a kinda older kid at that point. So many good memories sadly I didnt get to play trap team as i was way older and kinda didn't want to play kid games anymore.
