What made that one the most memorable to me was how it's environment was ever expanding and changing in relation to your progress in rebuilding the core.

The other thing I like about trap teams is all the legendary treasures appear physically in the academy

I actually think the Dreadyacht is a good hub world for one main reason. The size is good for the giants. Most of the giants are slow, so having a small hub world is perfect to compensated for the giants.

The soundtrack is my childhood, you could change the look of the ship, finding Hatterson 6 years later on my own is something I will never forget, and slowly more NPCs you encounter will join your crew. Just incredible.

Dread Yatch will always be iconic but as a hub world the Academy will always be the best. It just has such nice music and a really home-ey feel. They reused it over and over, because it’s just so perfect.

the Spyro's Adventure hub world is not called the Core of Light it's called The Ruins

I recently played through Spore again, and i decided to build The Dread-Yacht as my space ship of choice 😅 Love Flynns ship :)

If Imaginators had a level select screen I wouldn't really complain about the M.A.P, but for the fact you have to find every level is just annoying. Especially the Kaos fight. It would still be my least favorite hub world but it would make the experience much better. Though the academy is pretty cool, it feels like a combination between the trap team and superchargers academy.

The Hub Worlds are eternal. My personal top Hub Worlds would be: -6: Superchargers -5: Imaginators (But I don´t think is bad) -4: Swap Force -3: Trap Team -2: Giants -1: Spyro´s Adventure

to be fair you end the Giants hub with a few new characters. I am kinda disappointed that Stephane the Wilikin disappeared. It is actually weird. She wanders the deck for 2 levels than she vanishes, leaving a baby wilikin in the ramp room. (like... did a wooden doll child just give birth and explode?) That would have made more sense than her SHOWING BACK UP after you beat the game, and then promptly disappearing again. (Edit: I would give giants 7 because of the customization and the wing hatterson secret is cool)

I spent so much time at the Ruins in SSA as a kid, just fooling around and flying the balloon with Flynn, that I could probably draw a map of it from memory Dreadyacht is another one that I really like, sure it's the smallest one but they made sure that you got stuff to do and places to go in here. I also love how the ship is always on the move and the skybox changes depending on the chapter you're at during the story mode, really sells the feeling that you're on a grand adventure And then there's Woodburrow, staying true to Swap Force itself, it's so big and there is SO MUCH stuff to do here that it's almost overwhelming. I love all the little secrets and hidden sections, like that rainbow bridge appearing at a specific time. Of course the biggest flaw of this hub world is the inclusion of Rufus. I'm not even gonna try and be contradictory on this one, I'm so sick of this man just as much as everyone else.

I love all six hub worlds! But if I were to chose one, I'm gonna go with Woodburrow, because it's open spaced and full of many locations to venture into. Though, the SSA one does have a sense of depth.

SSA hub world is the first thing I think about when the game is brought up. The nostalgia hits hard especially with that music.

Something I don’t like about the Imaginators hub world is that if you want to do a side quest you have to talk to the brain and get lucky with the level he gives you. I just find that dumb that I basically have to gamble just to play a short level. Also you can’t just ask for another one, no you must enter a level first

Giants is 10/10 for me because I remember when I was a kid and Giants just came out I literally prayed to God to get Giants and I was so hyped about the Flynn Ship at one moment it was the most anticipated thing in Giants for me so ye I love the ship 🙏 W vid also 🔥

The Swap Force hub is one of largest and looks the exact same all over. It's very empty, though I missed out a lot because I was on the Wii. At least on the Wii version of Trap Team, the different areas had function. SSA has my favourite hub (I can't judge Imaginators and Superchargers) but it is pretty empty for the most part.

i'm definitely biased, but i absolutely LOVE the Trap Team hub. yeah, it's hot a lot of rooms and they all sorta have the same feel, but it's an academy, so i get it. the music, oh the music is wonderful and gives me such a warm feeling paired with the academy. Trap Team is my favourite game, so there's definitely a lot of bias there, but it just feels like the most magical game, maybe topped by Spyro's Adventure solely because it was the first game and a new concept for most people. but the Traptanium is so cool

In swap force hub you can also get to the adventure pack Levels in the hub

I think the giants hub being small was intentional because giants move so slow a massive hub like ssa or ssw would be frustrating to get around

M.A.P is a hub i love Skylanders Academy (TT) i like it The Dreadnought it's Meh Woodbower i like it Skylander Academy (SC) it's fun Core of light Island it is nice

My personal ranking is this N/A: M.A.P. - Never played Imaginators so can't comment on this one 5. Academy - I like Trap Team but never really enjoyed the hub world. There was some cool stuff there but overall it just felt too... idk, boring? It just felt like it lacked a theme aside from 'it's a school i guess' 4. Academy Remnants: Haven't played Superchargers either but I have seen a lot of footage. I honestly really dislike the fact that they reused Trap Team's hubworld, even if they changed parts of it. The only reason I put it over TT is that this one has more of a theme, fitting of the darker turn seen in the game - it does feel like this space has been hurriedly pulled together in a desperate attempt to create some kind of mobile safe space. However, I still think the Dread Yacht should have been part of it, especially considering the main engines did actually fail, and also, it's a vehicle themed game and they didn't show the most iconic vehicle?! 3. Woodburrow - Overall, I like this one a lot, it was really well done. As a child I never liked the fact that none of the original cast aside from Flynn were there, but now that I'm older I understand that it was done to show how far from home we are. Overall, very solid hub world, not too big, not too small, multiple different environments, still filled with people. 2. The Ruins - Controversial, I know, but consider the fact that I really liked Woodburrow and still put this one above it. Everything I said about Woodburrow also applies here, but without the negatives. Lots of unique environments, original cast is here, and best of all the expansion packs can be accessed from the hub world. 1. The Dreadyacht - Okay, okay, maybe it's my nostalgia talking here, but I love this thing. Each room has a purpose, everything is close together so you never have to go far, it features every major mechanic of the game, you see the background change as you progress on your voyage, multiple levels happen simply because the ship needs repairs / is being attacked, all adding to it really feeling like the entire game is a coherent voyage instead of lots of disjointed adventures to build towards completing each plot point. Not to mention the fact that you get to customise it. Best hub world imo, and I like the continuity of it appearing in swap force, then becoming literally the best ship in Skylands... only to never be used again. WHYYYY

Did some research and it turns out they destroyed the dreadyacht in the prequel comic to SuperChargers. I... um... what?!?! That is the laziest way to have got rid of it ever.
