Skylights are awesome! Been using some of their lights for many many years

I've had one on my Reef Tank for nearly 6 months and it's been amazing as well! So I'm pretty confident these are going to be just as good long term! Looking forward to the update with the dry start tank.

Looks like a really nice light, I really appreciate the options for sitting it on a lid or hanging it, too. Nice review and demonstration, hope you have a great weekend! 🙂👍

Sweet video bud wood love to see a video on best plants to use for vampire crabs an mosses if all possible one day no how busy life gets
@IndoorEcosystem4 ай бұрын
Thanks! I haven't done a video on this because there no real "best plants" in my opinion. You can add anything you want as long as it likes humid environments. Most of the stuff everyone already uses in the hobby. Moss is kinda similar any aquarium Moses work and terrestrial mosses there only really one that's easy. Hypnum moss. 😊

what lights would you say are best for paludariums? budget that is, would a regular aquarium light work or should i get something a bit nicer? (paludarium for frogs with plants and aquarium)
@IndoorEcosystem5 ай бұрын
You'll find that most aquarium lights will grow anything in a paludarium without any problems. But as you go up in price you start to get a lot of extra features. Things like colour options, app control, intensity settings, different mounting options etc. So you can start to customise the look a lot more. So I find the choice is more about those extra features you get. That said I would start with a really cheap light if it was your very first tank. That's what I did, Then once you know you enjoy the hobby and want to make life easier then start looking at some of the mid-range and top self stuff. If you start to have more tanks as well having the lights on a system like these is super super handy!

Hi. Does anybody know if the color presets in the app are only for the look and feel for human eyes or it has also influence to the plants in the aquarium? Because those icons and colors says basically nothing to me and no technical information can be visible about the wavelengths and colors used for the defined preset...

In the link in the description there is some information regarding the spectrum they cover. I've been using them for a few months now and things seem to grow really well. I'm using one on my freshwater aquascape: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYfWcoJ4ft52rdE And one on my Macro Algae tank: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gojJgZWefr6rqMk I generally have them configured to roll through a few different colour profiles over a 9 hour period.
