I've always found it weird that even though most people, including myself, never knew her personally, they were affected by her death as if they had lost a very close family member. She touched millions of lives through her good deeds. People like Diana only come by once in a generation, she was truly one of a kind. R.I.P.

She was everywhere. Also all the cable TV (back then) was filled with her on the news. She was on every channel all day and all night for the rest of the year. For one as a 7 year old, I didnt know there was a real princess in the world. I thought it was all made up in Disney movies. Not only that, the things that Diana did with her charities moved me even then. That was unheard of. I really loved that. Still watching her till this day. Never forget.

I remember waking up and walking into the living room to see my mother sitting on the floor in front of the tv in shock. During Diana's life she often shook her head at her wondering why she couldn't "behave herself". She thought her to be neurotic. She frowned on showing emotion, it really embarrassed her and she didn't like to show attachment; but there she was holding her hand over her mouth, visibly shaking. She didn't talk about it but over the next week, she collected every article from newspapers and even went out of her way to buy every magazine that had an article of Diana's death to cut it out and save it. My father would tease her and ask what she was doing but she would only bark at him not to touch any of it and leave her alone. I'll never know why my mother, who is so tough fronted, felt affected the way she did. Diana was the people's princess even to us here in the states; she was something to us. A remarkable person.

toshi1020 The British royals are the least racist people I know of. Diana had severe Borderline Personality and was hypersensitive and paranoid. This was because of her sad childhood. Her beauty, shy and vulnerable smile made her the darling of the world. But really, she was easily enraged, a pathological liar, manipulative, depressed and suicidal, constantly threatening Charles, even ripping up his painting on their honeymoon, a fact she tellingly hid from her biographer. She threw herself down the stairs when she was pregnant because Charles went to play polo or golf. She slapped her father on the day of his wedding to her stepmother. People are so charmed by her looks. But looks are deceptive. Charles never complained or explained all through the years he was married to her, except to his inner circle. He was rescued by the cheerful and sensible Camilla who returned to his life only because he was on the brink of a mental breakdown. Camilla herself had been serially cheated on by her husband Andrew. They picked up again only after the marriage became "irretrievably broken down". Diana became vindictive and flagrantly promiscuous just to spite Charles and disgrace the royals. She played the media like a pro. That's not to judge her. She had a serious mental illness and fear of abandonment and death was a merciful release. That is why her sons are so committed to mental health initiatives. She was kind hearted and charitable, yes, but she admitted that she had nothing else to do. She also reportedly spent £3,60,000 a year only on clothes from Charles' Duchy. People are so childish in their blind fanaticism of Diana and hatred of Camilla. I'm glad Charles and Camilla took their chance at happiness. The royal family was not the problem, Diana was. Truth will out in the end. RIP Diana

She had the type of charisma that Jack and Jackie Kennedy possessed. It can't be manufactured, or imitated - it's just there. And this charisma had to have stirred up great jealousy in Charles, his mother & father, and the rest of those dull dolts. They couldn't believe it I think. Here they thought they had arranged a shy obedient girl to marry Charles but instead she out shined them all. And this was really hilarious because of Charles and Camilla sneaking around behind this girls back the whole time she was married to Charles. It totally backfired.

hit it right on the head, and the irony is, had the RF had the good sense to see what an asset Diana was to them, i.e, increased interest= survival of their family line, they could've worked with her. Rather they chose to view her as liability and their inability to accept her as true family and not just future consort/queen mum caused more damage than Diana ever could've.

I feel someone might have went to the car that night & made sure she was deceased! How sad she couldn’t have lived. The Lord works through people and she was so Special!

I find it unreal that no one assisted her right away.

27:47 that broke my heart. So crazy how the british press seemed to really "mourn" her death when they were so visious towards her, they literally hounded and stalked her. I'll never understand this part of humanity.

Awww. I saw that picture of Diana and Holly at 39:58 in a book my Mom had for 20 years called Diana Princess Of Wales at the very end of the book. It was just warmed my heart!

She was the only TRUE Royal blooded member of that family. She was far more aristocratic than any of them. And forever will be.

@@glen7318 Look it up Glen, she had a royal blood line in her own Family.

rubbish. She had some Stuart blood but that was on teh wrong side of hte blanket, and most of the aristocracy have some royal connextions...htat does not make them royal@@jennygoddard6875

Most beautiful human being There was. I learned so much from listening to all of Princess Diana and the way she was with everyone else around her. Her beauty, style, kindness to so many others, there will Never be another person like her again. I think about her and her family all the time. Wish her family and grandchildren well. My ❤ to all of them.
