Freedom of speech 'no longer exists' in Australia and the UK: Katie Hopkins

Stringent government control and oppressive social media platforms are forcing Australians to self-censor themselves, according to controversial media personality Katie Hopkins.
Ms Hopkins, who is known for her strident support of Donald Trump and Boris Johnson, says social media giants like Twitter and Facebook often punish those whose views fall out of the mainstream.
She told Sky News freedom of speech, which was once the bedrock of democracy, "no longer exists" in many western nations.
"Frankly, no one would defend freedom of speech to their death because we (Australia and the UK) don't have it anymore," she said.
"Good Australians that I know and I love, they self-censor everywhere they go because they can no longer speak about how they think or how they feel.
"It's the mechanism of control."

As a South African, this is the first time I've heard of Katie Hopkins but I would truly like to thank her for standing up for the farmers in South Africa and she's done this at such great personal cost. Why does the world allow and even acknowledge, via denial and lack of reportage, these disgusting hate crimes? Why are white minority South Africans being massacred when they are the ones who will contribute to society and uplift everyone? We pay taxes to a government that does not pass this income on to the poor for purposes of upliftment but continually enrich themselves and keep getting voted for when they have zero interest in their own people and will champion killing the people who are capable of providing the country's food. This country has gone downhill rapidly since being ruled by a communist black dictatorship promising more than they could offer and South Africa is in a far worse state than when it was being governed by white leadership. What Katie has done is the actual work of coming to South Africa and experiencing the reality. Zimbabwe was indeed the food bowl of Africa and now they starve and can no longer blame white Zimbabweans for their dire poverty. Anyone from the UK and Australia who have South Africans working and living in their countries will tell you that we are hard working and productive members of society and are proud to uplift and contribute to create meaningful societal upliftment. We're not likely to live off the dole and won't be a drain on your economy and will enrich and integrate as best we can. White South Africans do not hate black South Africans even though our lives have been threatened and our homes stolen from.
