Fatima should be happy to be in Australia and focus on a happy life here , not getting into government and incorporating all the things and ideologies of the place she ran from. I don't think you know the law that well to agree with you. lemme explain it like this: Even if we concede she has Afghan citizenship (which I doubt), the High Court has clearly said a candidate only has to do all that is reasonable to renounce their other nationality; to be reasonable to formally renounce Afghan citizenship, you'd have to recognise the Taliban and invite them to have diplomatic relations and recognise their documents; Now we don't want that do we?
