I think they constantly covered his rallies in the run up to the first Republican nomination he won, back in 2016. They gave him millions of dollars of free publicity that way. I think they thought he was going to destroy the Republican Party, and it backfired on them.

It’s not true. All the networks including CNN air Trump’s rallies but they usually stop airing it when he talks about topics they don’t like (election fraud). That’s when they turn off the cameras.

Regarding the Trump rally of July 13th, 2024, I have a few doubts. Routh's defense may be that he was pointing the rifle at a golf hole waiting for a rabbit or an alligator, where the former president was still one golf hole behind. Ryan Routh was pointing a rifle at the greens with an AK47 rifle in the golf course, with the barrel of the rifle sticking out of the boundary fence. one hole ahead of the former President Routh can say he was waiting for a rabbit or alligator to shoot down. The head of secret service says he can save the job of Routh. The head of secret service the rifle was not aimed at the head of Trump. He said he can save the job of the would be assassin, as he was pointing his rifle at the greens where and trump was ab 50 yards behind, hidden by trees. Overall, the shooter was 350 yards away from this hole where he was pointing his AK37 rifle. With a telescopic scope, a shooter ca see the head of the target person moving and turning, and the shooter can adjust his aim accordingly. Without a telescopic scope, the shooter has to depend on good luck, as he wont notice the head of the intended target moving or turning. Routh can always say to his lawyer that he was trying to shoot a deer or an alligator on the golf course. . He was waiting to pull the trigger and hadn't pulled the trigger. President Trump was one hole behind when a scouting secret service employee saw a rifle sticking out of the fence. The distance from the previous golf Trump was one golf hold behind and would have reached this area in minutes. I am glad President Trump is safe and okay. Good job by a secret service employee who was scouting one hold ahead of the former President.. He may or may not be also be a paid assassin of Kyiv.
