I am from the UK and agree with the actions that Douglas Murray insisted on. I also believe that another enquiry would not be helpful to help the girls, however, I do want some wide ranging investigation of some sort into those that were complicit in allowing it to happen. Justice is important. The rot in the system needs to be pruned away and prosecuted with severe sentences as a warning to the future establishments. This must be stopped. We need strong, ethical people that will do their jobs, and not just for Rape Gangs, there are many other issues that need to be faced head on that are currently ignored because of laziness or fear.

@theodoseusiii5442: The term 'Great Britain' actually refers to geographical size, not some quality of might or virtue, and seems to have originated with King James VI when, following the death of the childless Elizabeth I, he became King James I, ruler of England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. It was meant only in the sense of 'greater' or 'enlarged'. It can be compared to the term 'Greater London Council', which was an administrative body for an area consisting mostly of urban sprawl, of which the Elizabethan London formed only a small part, and about which there was very little that was actually either good or great. The GLC was generally politically very leftist, and has not been missed since it was dissolved in 1986.

The general public has the attention span of a gnat, so all the bureaucracy and it's politicians have to do is procrastinate long enough to out last the outrage, and that's where the inquiry comes in. The politicians set the rules for the inquiry that limits its ability to find out anything to disastrous or anything at all, and it all goes away some 2 or 3 years later.

Everyone is a liberal until it appears on their doorstep, south port changed a lot of mindsets because it became very real that this could now happen in any town - macabre at a level that could never be envisaged in such a society...I've noticed a lot of middle class bourgeois towns are now pushing back because their hotels have now got a 'new clientele', it's hard to be sympathetic, but at the same time we need to welcome them with open arms when they do finally wake up.
