The only thing "broken" about our Immigration System is that it allows everyone to claim 'asylum', and get certain benefits to entering the USA. Close the loophole that is the overused 'asylum' status, making it much more difficult to qualify for, and the system is fixed. Add the requirement that 'asylum' only applies if the person presents the claim, at the 1st country outside of their own, and CANNOT be presented or a claimed @ the US Southern border!!
