'Disgusting': Captain Sir Tom Moore memorial defaced by eco-activist

Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan has grilled climate activist Kai Bartlett over his support for the defacement of a memorial for Captain Sir Tom Moore with human faeces and urine.
In a video widely condemned online, a protester wearing a T-shirt saying ‘end UK private jets’ is seen pouring human waste over the memorial of the WWII veteran.
Mr Morgan told Mr Bartlett, “You make me want to do the complete opposite - you make me want to go and literally get on a private plane tonight.
“Any attempt by you to try and influence public thinking, or get support for your cause, you’re living for the birds.
“This is one of the most disgusting things I think I’ve ever had to see.”

Captain Tom Moore was a poster boy for the establishment, for sure. Above all he was a man who did the right thing in every facet of his life. He was born in Keighley West Yorkshire (pronounced Keith lee ) His beloved and very popular uncle uncle committed suicide, then he went off to war, fought for his country, and gave his time selflessly, He had to watch as his dad's building business was sold off. Enduring financial hardships. His first wife he could have divorced on grounds of non-consummation, but instead respected her dignity, and went on to pretend he had been unfaithful (when he had indeed not!). He then had to walk out on a house he had paid into the mortgage of. His second wife, was slightly distant, and indeed ended up suffering from Alzheimers, but he made a family. He captured the hearts of the nation, indeed the world. Yes a poster boy, but did we need to do this to his memorial? How does this disgusting act of vandalism, and ingratitude help anyone, moreover how does it help your cause Kai Bartlett? Give your bloody head a shake lad!
