I’ve been late to the party here as been pretty busy w work etc but this is an absolute disgrace. The family have no shame or can even see the optics of why people are so angry. I lost nearly 3yrs work which started from covid (freelance creative) but still found 50 quid to donate to Sir Tom when I was right up against it in 2020. His family have tarnished his legacy through their flagrant greed and opportunism. Lots of very vulnerable people lost their lives through the pandemic and the actions of his family are a slap in the face of everyone who donated to Sir Tom’s cause. Shame on them. If it’s a public place it would need commercial fire alarm and emergency lighting systems as well as many other systems and equipments. They built that building for one purpose for a luxury spa, and they're loathed to part with it, their finances need looking into end of, there's a paper trail and regardless what they say, her Dad's cash money was probably used, it's a Captains Tom foundation so money probably used for the building, I'd love to see a museum to honour him, but in another place there's War museum in Malton take his stuff there, Why use his name they've got lovely memories of him

Something just isn't right here. That pool, and their stubbornness to not let it go? It's just bizarre, to not see how tasteless the whole thing is. The only people who made the application is them, so not something they "should have noticed" in the application, and not a penned mistake. Those children are learning a lesson in self destruction, and will be tarnished with their parents decisions for quite some time. Well I hope they enjoy the pool, I don't think I could. Tis but a scratch springs to mind..

I'm gonna stop her right there on the underbelly of hate thing - No one hated her father. The only hate I ever saw regarding Tom Moore's 100 laps of his garden, was when he started to get media attention, and she started popping up in the media everywhere, trying to make a quick buck off her fathers altruistic deed. Even in this interview, she has to point out how she supported him - no one gives a toss sweetheart, you were not the 100 year old man doing 100 laps of his garden, you were just the materialistic daughter rubbing her hands together at how she could make a quick buck out of it - people noticed then, and have been proven right now.
