Why do manufacturers use non-standard batteries? especially when the device is LARGE enough to use a AAA or AA? Makes no sense to me. The missing feature is how much life the stupid button battery has.

Yeh always makes me wonder the same but these last ages I run the same batteries in my car and motorbike key fobs and they last year's also all my cycling sensors use them so I normally have plenty kicking around but know what you mean
