Both, on-road guys probably benefit more since they are more sensitive to where the weight is, but for off-road they are still handy for checking/setting the balance of weight from side to side/front to rear.

The Android App needs updating to FULLY work with android devices. GooglePlay reviews of the App are 80% negative. For example, my Samsung Tab A7 does not connect to the scales.
