I picked up one of these (from RC Juice, and for $40 less then Amain's price) a few weeks ago. I still have the wired version, but that'll now be my 'backup' RC scale, as this one provides more info, is easier/quicker to set up rack time it's needed, and is easier to travel with. The only "downside" is, when swing it up before each use, one needs to make certain they place each unit appropriate to the correct wheel. Regarding the "they turn themselves off" comment, that's, technically, incorrect. They don't actually York themselves off...they go into a low-lower 'receive only' mode...meaning that they ARE still drawing battery power, albeit a very minimal amount. This is what allows them to reconnect to the phone/app the next time the app is started. The only way to prevent all power draw is to turn the scales off manually (the method I recommend). Then, when you want to use them, first start the app, then turn on each of the scales (one at a time, waiting until it's "connected" before turning on the next). Yes, this method takes a little longer, but only by a few seconds...plus, it'll save battery power in the scales.

Looks like a much easier option than my four Harbor Freight scales. Might have to look into getting one.

I have the wired version & I found I got a more consistent reading if I set the tires in the center of the scale. To make that easier I put an X on each scale from corner to corner.

I'll keep my wired set.........no need for more spying nodes😎 These days, wireless is simpler/cheaper to manufacturer......like a Tesla.

Nice vidio Francis. Those are not "left & right weights". They are ""RF+LR" and "LF+RR" weights taken on a diagonal from each other. Would be nice if SKYRC allowed the option to be programmed on the smart phone to show left and right instead of diagonally. Seems like an easy thing for them to do...

I've been wondering...in your opinion is this easier having to set up Bluetooth and use an app and move them round vs. having a stationary wired unit?
