Great work, i love your handmade bldc motors. Would be great to learn from you how to calculate power, slots, efficiency and wiring.

Have you measured the force of your motor with this propeller at max power?

So, did you eventually fly it satisfactorily ?

Not yet. Maybe with servo control of the paraglider. Otherwise its very hard to control during takeoff.

Hi I have a suggestion for the project or a future one, What you could do is put some folding training gear on the back of the bike so you won't need to try to balance on take off and on landing, as for steering put some foot pegs on each side of the front forks so you can use your feet to steer so your hands can be free to control the sail, this should make it more similar to a trike design which is more stable and safe.

Looking forward to part 4: flight test.

This is a really cool project only suggestion is to work on the safety aspect a bit

Cool experiment. It will be interesting to see it fly. But I think ultimately you'll be more satisfied with a minimal reclined winged plane. Small blade wings, high speed take off and cruise (allows smaller wings). Good opportunity there.

Planes fall when they stall. Paramotors don’t have a stall issue while autogyros have a very low stall speed.

I would suggest to stop the project before you get hurt. Launching a paraglider with no control is suicide. When handling a paraglider you have to be in full control in every stage. Preparation, pre-fill, glider launch, control phase and take off. Losing control in any of theses vital phases can have fatal consequences. Strapped to your device you will have no chance if something goes wrong. Please talk to an experienced paraglider pilot before you start a new design. This one is a death trap.

He had control. It wasn’t ideal but there are hand straps on the parawing cords and he has handlebars for steering. There was a thunderstorm approaching so headwinds were chaotic. That’s why the test was not planned to get airborn.
