The Steel Battleaxe of Fiery Souls can be destroyed in an Arcane Enchanter to learn its effect and can then be applied to other weapons. I believe the enchant also benefits from all perks that affect fire-type enchants and will boost its fire damage as you level up in destruction like other fire enchanted items.

I was hoping you'd feature the flaming sword. It's a fairly ordinary sword with a flame enchantment, but its visual effect has actual flames coming off the blade. I've only seen it a couple of times in all my play throughs. Once, I got it in Valtheim Towers and another time in a bandit chest somewhere. There doesn't seem to be a reliable way of getting it.

I think one of the things I like most about the Steel Battleaxe of Fiery Souls is how the unique enchantment has significantly more charges to it than a regular Soul Trap enchantment, and how you can disenchant the thing to gain the knowledge of Enchanting other weapons with the Fiery Soul Trap effect

I don't know if you have your comment notifications on but did you know in Fallout 4 if you go to good-neighbor and go to the memory Den before you go to Diamond City you can actually pay to get into the memory lounger and when you do you relive the memory of Nate or Nora dying and the woman in the feather dress I forget her name will tell you to go to Nick Valentine also if you have a high enough charisma skill you can get into the memory lounger for free and since you relived a bad memory when you get out of the memory lounger you can then ask the woman in the feather dress for your money back regardless if you paid or not and you can get the free if I remember correctly either 100 or 200 caps which can be good for beginners new to Fallout 4 and also not to mention that when you sell the 2 wedding rings if you have high Charisma you can get 100 caps for each of them which is 200 and you also add the 100 or 200 you get from doing the memory lounger you can make a 300 or 400 caps prophet off your family's misery

On the Akaviri sword, it's important to note that in oblivion there were no blades swords they were all akaviri katanas the two handed version being called the akaviri dia katana. Calling them blades swords is unique to Skyrim, likely the creators of Skyrim wanted to differentiate recent with ancient. As in oblivion there were ancient akaviri katanas in game under the name ancient akaviri katana.

I found a Nordic pick ax ironically because of the mission where Delvin's brother asks you to retrieve his stolen one. The mission I got from the old man who had taken it, where you find what happened to his ancestor, lead me through some caves where I found one as random loot.

chillrend is how i made that game set on the hardest difficulty into a childs game. By stealig anything that wasnt tied down up to the point where i got that sword then reforged it while pumped up with the boosters. Im surprised you dont talk about those crafting boosters. Boosters that only spawn in like 1 place in the game on a shelf. And it respawns every day. Use that and create gear to increase crafting and cycle like that untill you get around 200% and then reforge sword. You can also craft a sword nearly as good as chillrend then go around and kill nearly every dragons in 1 or 2 hits, except ice dragons i had to use a fire sword and it took too long considering i got spoiled on 1 or 2 shotting dragons

Nah, I'll tell you, Chrysamere is where it's at. Found in Forelhost. That thing lays down the wood, like a carpenter. And, is enchantment never goes down. You can bum rush a dragon priest as soon as they pop up and take them out in a few swings.

There is also a shield placed under the axe, which may mean that because of his sheer size he used the axe only in one hand and used a shield as well. Think also, correct me if I'm wrong but... the Battleaxe of Firey Souls is disenchantable? So you could disenchant it for the enchantment and put it on other weapons, which gives you two enchantments in one so you could soul trap and burn someone while also either shocking, freezing... draining stamia... health, absorbing whatever. And so on. Again I might be wrong as I haven't played Skyrim a while but, think that's a thing?

You should also have mentioned that the enchantment for the Steel Battleaxe of Fiery Souls can be disenchanted and both the soul trap and the fire damage count as a single enchantment, making the enchantment useful later in the game. In fact, Fiery Soul Trap and Chaos Damage are among two of the most useful weapon enchantments, if not the two best weapon enchantments.

It's also worth mentioning that the enchantment can be learned from the battleaxe of fiery souls. While it can be mimicked via the dual-enchantment perk, the fiery souls enchantment itself counts as a single enchantment, meaning you could stack another enchantment with it using dual-enchantment. Add that to the fact that it fills soul gems giving you have the means to recharge the weapon often and you have an exceedingly strong weapon.

You can obtain chillrend at level 1 or 2 as long as you get the whirlwind sprint shout. Use the shout at the side balcony next to the Mercer's home balcony with the drop bridge. I made it onto the roof of his house and dropped on his balcony and entered the house and obtained chillrend very early on. Sadly its enchantment was less powerful than when you do it at level 20 or 40

I have seen it and found it as well sometimes if you enter the area but leave and not visit the spot then the body will despawn but the axe will have move a bit sometimes in the grass near where the body is found.

Yup! I was incensed that my house is only over a small hill from a bandit cave--Pinewatch bandit sanctuary--just above an altar filled with skulls and blood, attended by a respawning necromancer, and right near him is the dead body of the lumberjack. I'm going to get that bastard in Falkreath who sold me this piece of property! It also gets attacked by giants and bandits all the time, and I once opened the door to go out and there was a dragon with its mouth open and its jaw on the steps! Then just two days ago, I opened to door out and a dead dragon fell right on the path, almost on my house. Sheesh!

If you disenchant the battle-axe it'll act as 1 enchantment when you go to use it on another weapon allowing you to put a total of three enchantments on a weapon provided you have the right perk

He should have mentioned firey soultrap is a learnable enchantment. You can put on any weapon if you disinchant the axe.

I get the axe of fiery souls EVERY time I start a new game. It's great for early enchanting :-)

That and chaos cant get no better combination. What I never figured out was using fearvor repel enchantments by hey run away yes but come back and stab you in the back while you fighting their boss 30 seconds later I like my first strike to eliminate them not give them a second chance
