My wife was actually able to save the guy in Solitude, and the result was amazing! Because her sneak and archery was really high on one of her Xbox play through she was able to stealth kill the guards and the headsman without the guy being hit. After that we are guessing the game had a bug, and the guy just spent the rest of her game standing on stage looking confused and occasionally sharpening a sword on the grinding stone. We had the best time making our own head cannon about how the town was just ignoring him like Mikasa in Another *Edit* Some of y’all still commenting on this 3 years after I posted this…. “Couldn’t happen he is scripted to die” Do any of you even know what fucking game your talking about? Skyrim, the single buggiest game Bethesda ever put out.. and we aren’t talking “Anniversary Edition” or shit, I am talking about one of my wife’s first play through, back in 2011, where we had no internet connection, no DLC, no patches, just straight from Game Stop Skyrim. lol This game was so fucking broken when it came out I went through 4 different characters before I could complete the main story just because of the game breaking bugs each one encountered… Centurion Steam Glitch, stuck as a Werewolf glitch, Always wanted in Markarth…. Believe me or don’t, just stop wasting my fucking time with this “Couldn’t happen” shit. I was there I saw it, it was a huge joke for me and my wife for a long time.. 4:20 There is a bug that can get applied to your character upon creation (it’s a 50/50 chance) wherein if you become a Vampire and get cured by Falion while under the effects of Necromage with spells/Active Effects that are amplified by Necromage (or the Bloodworm Helm if you bought the Gallows Hall CC or Anniversary Edition; this is the fast way to see if your character was bugged), the game will still consider you undead despite no longer being a vampire, making the effects of Necromage on your character permanent. It should also be noted that only a handful of perks are affected by undead players with Necromage: -Extra Pockets (Pickpocket) -Atronach (Alteration) -Magic Resistance (Alteration) -Fists of Steel (Heavy Armor) -Dual Flurry (One-Handed) -Quick Draw (Archery) -Power Shot (Archery) -Windwalker (Light Armor) -Muffle (Sneak) -Recover (Restoration) -Avoid Death (Restoration) These perks only get the boost if they’re taken after Necromage is taken. The effects of Necromage and the Bloodworm Helm creation item also stack so you can get even greater effects. Whenever Thonar silverbloods wife gets killed by the foresworn attack, I saved prior to that and went back for an experiment. I stealthily killed both of the disguised foresworn members before I started talking to Thonar, and after we got done I rushed back over to where she was sitting and she just randomly died and collapsed underneath the chair, it's really similar to what happened to Roggvir. But for some reason a dagger appears out of thin air and lands on the chair after she dies. It does it every time. It's a very strange thing to witness.

I've played this game for years and I had only recently found out that there's a spell to shoot arrows from your hand and you can use a one handed weapon with the other hand. It's much more handy than the basic bow.

No it isn't. Stealth archer is such an OP build no one would run around casting magic arrow, a DnD spell, not a Skyrim spell. Max out smithing enchanting alchemy archery and stealth. Double enchant +40 stealth +40 archery on 4 pieces of gear, then strengthen your bow and armor. I can sneak around stealing and killing anything from anyone at any time. TLDR: Bullshit, spell does not exist. Even if it did stealth with a real bow is way to OP to go casting and slashing.

Actually that spell does exist. Technically. The spell is called 'Spectral Arrow' and is in the game's files, you just need console commands to access it. It works as much like the other Spectral Weapon conjuration spells, except well, being an arrow you shoot out of your hand.

you can use the cheat room mod to make him essential and the executioner can't cut his head off since hitting him with the cheat spell counts as trying to save him and the guards start attacking both of you. Strangely after the amount of time where he will die automatically passes he is no longer marked as an enemy by the guards and they leave him alone.

There was a thief in the home when they were telling me about the claw being stolen. So I kill the thief, the claw wasnt gone yet for some reason, or maybe I picked it up before, and all good. The companions protect you from the guards. Once I accidentally transformed into a werewolf and then I went into Jorvasskr and let it run out. Aela and Farkas killed the guards after me and I lived without a bounty.

I had the brilliant idea to kill everyone in Whiterun as an experiment. The companions started to help me and I died from laughing as they surrounded the last surviving kid (immortal) and hit it over and over again while it cried. I cried too. Later I reset to my latest save point, of course^^

Similar thing I had as well, only the guards attacked me randomly (no bounty, did not transform). I went into Jorvasskr and ALL the guards in Whiterun followed, while the companions did all the fighting for me, killing all the guards until the captain himself came to arrest me. When I came out onto the streets of Whiterun, there were no guards left lmao.

Hey Nate, remember the skeleton that is hidden underneath the bridge in Dragon's Reach? I think I found who killed her!!! Gabriella has advise to give you when you go to kill the Gourmet. She will say "if you are wondering where to hide the body, I have found in the past that the water is a very good hiding place" not word for word but it is almost. Go check it out. I think it's a hint!

My personal favorite "thing you might not know" in Skyrim is unlimited dragon arrows. Join the thieves guild and steal all of the arrows from the archers. Replace them with one dragon arrow. Whenever they go to the shooting range, they will shoot off free arrows of whatever they are carrying. I usually build dragon arrows only one time ever and stock up this way.

No, that was entirely on purpose for the player to discover on their own. If it was only accessible through console commands, that would be one thing, but when you can actually engage dialogue through using the calm spell, then that means that was meant to be.

If it was just some random blacksmith dialog he wouldnt mention being the champion during it. He only says he makes armor in junction with it being another way to change fate and make your mark, unlike the prince of betrayls way.

I think what connor meant is that originally he was hiding away as a blacksmith, but they changed it so he was a bandit leader instead, made him hostile on sigth and left the dialoque in coz they had no reason to bother with getting rid of it. Notice that the dialoque dosent fit to him being hostile on sigth or even a bandit leader.

I have a theory. So in the Thieves Guild quest line, you gotta beat up some shopkeepers to make them pay back some debt or something. After you do this, and go to Brynjolf to finish the quest. After he congratulates you, he removes the money from your inventory (300). What if the player doesn't have 300 gold? I think maybe he'll complain that you've spent it.

On my first playthrough, I entered Solitude from a side gate and somehow never triggered Roggvir's execution scene, and somehow the game still keeps him alive. However his AI is rather bugged. He would contantly grind a sword in the nearby workbench forever. This made me confused as hell since everyone is telling he's dead but there he is in a small corner, eternally trapped sitting in the workbench.

It took a while for me to realize that if you pay the bandits to let you pass too many time, it will seemingly improve your standing with them to the point where they wont initiate the conversation or attack and you can freely walk around the fort without consequence. Still haven't tried seeing what happens with Roggvir if your first time entering Solitude is during the Stormcloak attack.

Things you probably didn't know about Bleak Falls Barrow -when you get the stone tablet before you go to whiterun, the court wizard will say a different dialogue like you're not like the other brutes that have been sent to him (something like that) -in the same location as the stone tablet, there are 2 hidden chests on the left and right areas -On the left side of bleak falls barrow there is a hidden satchel bag and safe I thought this was pretty neat and I don't actually know if people know about the hidden chests or not

Alduin's last words are a reference to Malafor's last words in Spyro. They translaste from Dovahzhul to 'I cannot die. I am eternal' which is basically the same as what Malafor says before being killed in a very similar way to Alduin.... Food for thought.

One of my favorite exploits is being a Vampire with Necromage, Atronach, and the Atronach Stone - granting 100% Magic Absorption. Sure you can no longer summon minions, but if you go ahead and put perk points into cheaper Conjuration spells you can use them to restock your mana since the mana absorption is based on the spell's base cost. Additionally, being inside the AOE of your own Destruction spells becomes a massive plus since the damage they try to deal to you is just absorbed again for more mana than you spent on the spell in the first place.
