Can you imagine how long it’s been. I remember being a kid playing Skyrim right after it came out because my family were total ES Nerds at the time. I got sucked in from then on, and one of the main channels I watched to learn things and find secrets was ESO, watching his playthroughs, his reactions. It truly tells you that such a big facet of Skyrim is it’s community, without these wonderful content creators I never would have gotten as sucked in as I did. Thanks ESO, you made a fan for life. PS. Imagine one last Skyrim play through to trump all others by ESO? Sounds like it needs to happen. Edit: HE’S DOING A ANNIVERSARY WALKTHROUGH WEEEEWWWW.

Kris' quests are so.. monotonous.. Go to the Steward, read a note. Go to the alchemists shop, read a note. Go to the hall of the dead, read a note. Go to the stables, read a note. Go to the Silent Moons camp.. I've been cringing internally since seeing info leading up to release saying he's done these quests, but hoped the pacing would have improved since the FO4 ones. Evidently not, unfortunately

A lot of the smaller mods like perk ordinator work fine with anniversary. Stuff they does massive changes to the game like graphical mods and things that change the in game level script mess it up too. I highly suggest downloading unique uniques mod for it. If you want giant mods stick to special. Within a month or 2 you'll be able to do download the bigger mods cause the code was barely touched compared to regular going to special.

I’m actually doing a run without Legacy for the first time in years and it’s surprisingly kind of refreshing. I’ve realized that I was spending way too much time in the museum sorting things instead of playing the rest of the game. LotD is a crazy dedicated mod, but it also kinda pulls you out of the rest of the world with how suffocatingly large it is, and while the collector/curator role is a perfect fit for a game like this, I think I’ll just go back to jamming everything into the other player homes, so I can spend more time exploring other mods and new content. Hopefully they implement something like the Dragonborn Gallery into the TES:6 base game though, given the love the community has for it.

The assets used in that mod are not always vanilla friendly and it requires SKSE. MO2 requires being set up properly and vortex has a terrible UI with adverts from Nexus. Creation Club is integrated within the game itself and is literally click, download, play like any other kind of official DLC. In fact, the AE upgrade is essentially just a single click and then the game does everything else. On sale the upgrade was $10. The price of Hearthfire DLC. And by comparison it comes with as much if not more content (and more varied content) than HF? I’ve been playing Skyrim since I waited in line at 12pm midnight back in 2011 and have gotten so much value for my money that an extra $10 is a no brainer, but here you are being stingy over $10. There is a place for both and no one is forcing you to buy CC content.

@@thelasttaarakian You replied to an 11 month old comment. Yes I agree modding can be a bit tricky and, yes it's convenient to just download these creations in game and I even bought it on sale, It's worth the 10 euros. BUT it's definietly not worth the full asking price. And to your first point I say nothing in my skyrim is vanilla friendly from textures to SMIM. Vanilla Skyrim is kind of terrible.

As a tip for someone who wants the farm I would suggest a steward who does magic and/or archery. I use the farm as early as possible to get the passive income and dragon attacks are extremely common. Melee followers don't do well with dragons until they land or you have dragon rend (late game) so you tend to be running around on the ground too much.

This game is truly more than just a game. I’ve always been pretty close with my brother, but now we talk every single day about skyrim. It’s strengthened two of my dearest friendships, they both have played for years and have been teaching me what they know, this year is my first year playing it. I’ve been going through an incredibly horrible break up, my ex was very abusive to me in ways I never thought would happen to me, I felt like I lost myself, my strength and my voice and this game has been my sanctuary. I know it sounds silly, but it really has bolstered some confidence in me, not to take any bullshit and to try things even if I’m scared to. It’s given me peace, it’s given me adventure, it’s given me a lot of joy to play during this dark time in my life. It’s really helped distract me. It has helped me so much, it makes me feel like I can slay my own real life dragons. This is more than just a game, and to see all the hidden inside jokes in the community is fantastic, the community itself is fantastic. I’m happy to be here. This game, you can tell how much they cared about making it. They really put their all into it and it shows.

Honestly everyone bitching about the quests being too straightforward is such a joke. I’m going to get a fucking sword that’s already lorebreaking just by still existing, but the problem is that you automatically get the quest and you don’t have to read 20 letters just to figure out where it is? Smh ridiculous.

Its straight out embarrassing that Bethesda instead of doing want they use to do so well like being creative and innovating have settled instead for living off the fan base for a game that released a decade ago. I mean think about it hell even look at the release dates for ESO 3 and 4 then look at the dates between 4 and 5. Yet since then there games are now worth 3 times what they were and not only have they never made a bug free ESO to date but they expect their own customers to fix the games then pat them on the back for a decade and rebuy stuff that in one way or another is content the fans them selves made. The game industry is a shadow of its former self. Like I said what an embarrassment ..

This just reeks of entitlement. Bethesda updated the 32bit engine into a 64bit engine, released the CK, released most everything about their game as a free resource to modders, integrated modding INTO the game itself making the process plug n play thus expanding the scope of the modding community, found a way to allow consoles to mod their game, released a VR update overhaul, released a DRM free version on GOG, the list is endless but thats still not good enough for you. Like you’re willing to throw one of the best games ever made under the bus simply because “wHy uPgRaDe OlDrIm, iTs jUsT aS gOoD…” and “tHeY bRoKe OuR mOdS!!!” all because SKSE needed an update which took a couple weeks and now everything is back to being normal. Get over yourself and your fake anime tiddies.

You have taught me that vegetable soup is the best cooking to master first. I love making a mixed bean and vegetables soup in RL too. Anyway, you are as valuable in your own way as the nurse is in hers. Everybody can see the value the nurse gives, but your value metric is only seen by a band of followers. You reach more than most ever will and it all has its place in society. Feel empowered and valued as you are.

This is hands down one of the top 3 greatest games ever made. I used to work with a guy who was incarcerated in a work release facility who was a huge D&D fan. I told him about Skyrim and he was literally in tears. He got out and continued working and eventually I took him to buy his first Xbox 1 and he bought the ultimate edition. That was 10 years ago and he's now married with kids, saying that having Skyrim to look forward to saved him from a life of crime
