It's a crisp autumn day, perfect for making the journey up the 7,000 steps! (Which is really nowhere near 7,000 steps but oh well) We'll start in Riften, wind our way through the lovely fall colors of the hold to Iverstead where we start our climb. Keep your eyes peeled for that trouble-making frost troll!

Try turning the music off and play for a week then turn the music back on and feel the magic, it's actually really fun to go hunting with the music off , you can hear everything all the birds and bushes rustling.

Fun fact: the 7,000 steps actually refers to walking steps in-game. Found this out a few months back. 😁

A guy went through and actually counted the character's steps and only got 2577! So I maintain my stance that Bethesda is just super hyperbolic 😂

I think the whole 7,000 steps isn't hyperbole so much as the game is just a representation of a fictional world, in that we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg if you will. I mean if it was to scale, Tamriel would barely show up on a world map.
