​@@grandeleader, no. To enthrall NPCs over level 40 you have to be a vampire with Necromage. There's actually a helmet called the Bloodworm Helm in the same place you find the staff that basically gives you Necromage, and it's effect stacks with the perk meaning you can be a vampire with double Necromage, meaning you can enthrall NPCs around level 60 if my memory is correct. There's also a pet called the Bone Wolf that also basically gives you Necromage, however it mostly doesn't stack with the helmet, but as a vampire with Necromage, the Bloodworm Helm, and the Bone Wolf, you can enthrall NPCs above level 70 if I'm correct.

Awesome episode! I really like the teaser for Thoron! It's most likely going to be the ultimate mage fight in the history of Skyrim! A boss that was brought to my attention by my twin brother was Umbra (he appearantly beat him), so you could maybe make an episode on him.

Fantastic video! man, Malkoran seems to be very strong with that ice storm spell, the round with the 1 giant was hilarious, the giant stood LITERALLY NO CHANCE, Malkoran ended that fight before the fight even began 🤣🤣🤣also, I Seriously love the music you put into these videos, it makes them so entertaining to watch.

I have forgotten some of these foes that were special to their own dungeons. I do not remember Malkoran being this powerfull when I fought him for the first time, so it looks so bizarre to me to see him beat enemies that are this strong.

There are enough ways to kill him easily, such as the good ol' sneak archer, or just conjuring a frost atronach. 😆 I also never struggled much with him, but I usually had a high frost resistance anyway

I was surprised Malkoran took down those giants with such ease. They barely stood much of a chance lol. The first match with Ahzidal was quite surprising with how fast Malkoran defeated him as well. Ahzidal's fire spell didn't do quite as much damage as I would've expected. The draugr deathlord archer really showed just how powerful he is lol. He didn't have much trouble at all taking him down.

Yup, Malkoran's damage is nasty! He also has 55% magic resistance, so he's really tanky against other spellcasters as well. 😄

Funny enough the draugrs approach is the one i use most often against him. Knock him down with a shout and then rush in quickly and kill him. I also sometimes use a bow with paralyse poison.

Makes sense! Another funny way is to summon a frost atronach. As long as Malkoran doesn't spawn with a fire- or shock-based staff, he can only use his dagger 😆

​@@H.K.5Correct. Even enemies have perks, some of them upgraded sometimes. Only Nords, bretons or undead would stand a better chance against that specific spell.

Thank you! 😁 I've actually finally figured out the exact reason why Malkoran is so overpowered (and this motivated me to make more episodes with him!). I've experimented with Malkoran's mechanics for months and wasn't quite sure if it's a bug or not. He technically has the same damage output as other generic warlocks (60 points per ice storm, from Augmented Frost 2), but in his room, the damage can stack multiple times. You can see it well with the healthbars. Long story short: The desecrated corpses in his room buff the ice storms by adding this stacking behavior. This is most likely not intended. It works with all ice storms, not only those cast by Malkoran. In fact, you can beat him at his own game by using ice storms yourself!

I remember someone explained that Malkoran's ice spell is a bug, which is not only the damage of ice, but also the collision of the impacted object on the field (I'm not from an English-speaking country, so I don't know if this translation is correct)

Ice storms have several bugs, yeah. The damage can stack in Malkoran's room, which is probably a bug. I don't think the collision itself is faulty. And it's okay! 😁

@@lSlendermaster I like the Dark Brotherhood but I can see why people wouldn’t like them. They didn’t have much depth and they were very underpowered, Astrid and Veezara are the most capable assassins and they’d get stomped out by a lot of NPC’s.

@@H.K.5 Yeah, the same goes for the Companions. The Thieves Guild at least have Brynjolf and Mercer. The strongest guild still is the College. Especially when you see how they obliterate dragons that attack Winterhold 😆

I don't remember Ice Storm ever being able to one-shot a Giant, even dual-cast on Novice with Dukaan and Augmented Frost. Something fishy is going on here.

Ice storm damage stacks in Malkoran's room. It's the reason why he repeatedly one-shots many players when they first meet him 😂

​@@AvengerAtIlipa The wiki and UESP lack some info, yeah. Some things are also simply incorrect, but I'm glad about all the details still. Anyway, all of the desecrated corpses in Malkoran's room apply one additional damage stack to each ice storm touching both the corpses and a target. If the target is surrouned by 4 corpses, they take 5 individual hits from an ice storm, which you can tell apart if you look at the healthbar. It's probably not intended, but very few spells get buffed this way, so it's pretty funny that Malkoran has one 😆
