It can be accessed either through a trapdoor just above the bulwark or through a trap door in the Bulwark Jail. Lol i absolutely love that random "Flying Wizard" encounter. It's a callback to prior games The Ancient Nord pickaxe is insanely more valuable than the regular one. Since it can mine the two ores on the island, which normal pickaxes can't. Another thing, the pendants actually sell more to regular shops vs the guy who buys them as a Quest. I usually get an additional 100-200 gold I believe.

This reminds me of my own playthrough. I used the "Live another life" - mod and chose "I was left for dead". Then I woke up on a small island just off of the shore in Solstheim. Had to earn money to get back to Skyrim via boat. ^^

5:45 This is a reference to Tarhiel from Morrowind, same thing happened, he thought he made a spell that would allow you to simply jump wherever you wanted… but he didn’t think about landing. You would get his scrolls of Icarian Flight which would allow you to also jump but not necessarily land. But you could use a second one or a feather fall spell to be fine. Unfortunately here it’s just a callback, and this Wizard on solstheim has no such scrolls.

I don’t even need to watch the entire video to know that it’s good. I click, I watch, and if I cannot finish the video, or even if I do; an instant like. Good job dude. Skyrim is one of my all time favorite games, and it brings a smile to my face to see that others still love it just as much as I do. It was a game I shared with my brother through his first cancer diagnosis at age 11. He’s currently 24 and going through his third round of cancer…and I see him deteriorating. But when I watch you and others play the game that we shared together and loved so much, that’s one of the most beautiful things I love about video games. It’s more than competition or trying to do something someone else hasn’t, it’s sharing a passion with amazing friends and people you love.

I really like and appreciated that this was one of those videos that DIDN’T edit out most of the content but about maybe 5% of it that really didn’t matter- as it feels most edit out about 70% of content in videos they do. And while some might enjoy that, I enjoy, like and prefer to see a good 90% at the very least but best when it’s 100%. This stuff doesn’t have dull moments… Less it’s about 10+ minutes of constant crafting BUT one can just move time along faster to skip it- like I do with ads in video done by the KZbinr lol 😅 So, even that being left in is fine & good! Anyhow, thanks for the riveting video!

Fun little immersive tip for modders. In the creation kit go to static, find the woodpile, copy the file path for its model, then go to containers, duplicate a container, edit the model and change it to the woodpile's model and there you have yourself a functional woodpile to store your firewood in.

This actually reminds of one of my characters I really miss. I used an alternative start mod and going for random start. I ended up with a shipwreck at the eastern coast of Solstheim and had a good time with some hardcore combat and immersion mods. Sadly it was cut short after like 6-8 hours by mod conflicts 😓

Enemy health bars are from TrueHUD. Player ones I think I switched partway through, but I recommend Nordic UI and/or TrueHUD.

Survival mode is so ridiculously unbalanced that I keep wondering whether the mod author actually went outside, like, ever... No, going into a lake for a minute does not normally kill you. Walking through a waist-deep "river" does not normally kill you. Stuffing half an elk into your belly and still being hungry is not normal either. I do love survival modes in games, but I've LARPed enough to know what you can routinely survive in the woods in leather armor and what you should probably avoid doing..
