Still works on PS3 just don't use a plate use a platter if you can't find one go to the front where you came in on the right if you're walking "out" is a table where a platter is just don't "steal" it other wise guards will attack hold x when pointing at platter and walk with it. It may take couple of times to get to the wall but just keep moving with it. And the back of the platter should be facing u

+The Wierd Hobo 101 usually when you do missions you can find necklaces that increase speech so everybody you kill search their bodies for necklaces that increase speech. Or you can talk to some one and "(persuade)" them to do something for u that helps too. Speech takes longer and usually is t a short cut around it like other things

That chest is where the arch mage sells from, which is why it takes 24 hours x2 to be able to buy from her again

The plate clipping thing was kinda cool. All merchants in the game have their "Store" essentially a chest hidden nearby them outside of normal reach. they are linked via a LinkRef to point the NPC to sell their merchandise. Another one for example is right underneath the floor boards of where Acadia in Whiterun works, and has all her stuff. the one the guy showed in the video, would have all the spells which are marked as vendorloot in the game dependent on your spell school levels in each.

The reason it might be different for people is because you are not a high enough level and do not have adept and expert robes in your game yet. The chest is where that mage in the palace stores all the items she sells you. If you'd ask her what she has for sale it'd be those items. You can do this glitch in any shop and it'd be the same way. It helps to have a couple of do not delete boxes to get to the chests.

rate up so others see this. there wont always be all spell tomes. this chest is actually falk firebird's store's chest. it will have what he can sell. certain spells are only unlocked by vendors at certain levels, like invisibility wont be available at a vendor until illusion is level 50.

you get more spells from each school based on your level in that school, do if you have 100 in all magic skills, then you can get loads more spells. But youre right in that you cant get every spell, you cant get any master level spells and there are some unique spells like Equilibrium that you cant buy.

BTW if you have all three shouts for slow time i suggest using a platter when you have the platter againt the wall use slow time then you can see the chest more clearly wothout pressing X really fast hoped this helped

Vaughn Brown Im pretty sure that chest is to the jarl's mage on the next floor, it also depends on how high your magic stats are, the higher stats the better the spell you can get from the chest.

I'm currently playing on PS3 and this seems to have been patched. I've spent ages trying with no luck. The glitch down in the theifs guild (walking throw a door using a plate) allows you to get to 3 chests under water, steal the good items and sell them back to the lady above for gold every 48hrs. That way you will have as much gold to buy the books with instead.

if u want all spells for pc press the ~ button and type psb and enter it in and u will get every spell, if you want infinite health, stamina, magic, type tgm, to go into a room with all armour and wepons pretty much everything type, coc qasmoke.

I believe this isn't a glitch. I think the developers did this because there needs to be a place where the "shop keeper" can get their items to trade. So they put a chest out of the map in hopes no one finds it. Obviously that plan failed. Probably why the items refresh after 48 hours in the game and why you need to talk to the court mage. Just a theory.

yeah there were quite a few spell tombs missing. a few that I will note are: wall of storms, icestorm, firestorm, blizzard( probably misspelled that) and summon flaming familiar, storm antronach and frost antronach. but great video anyways

Ight so I was trying to do this in vr but couldn't find a way to rotate the plate, if you head towards the wall where the chest is, move your head through the wall and you should be able to access the chest
