This seems to be a common thing along all the magic schools. The master spells are not nearly powerful enough. I am playing destruction mage and not only is dual casted thunderbolt more powerful than lightning storm, but it benefits from impact perk so the master des spell is pretty useless

To get destruction to level 100 quick, buy the unbound storms spell or find it in a cave outside dawnstar (not shure it was dawnstar) and start casting it, then fast travel across the map. If done correctly your destruction will be level 100 in under 2 minutes. This also works with the telekenisis spell.

Hands down the best guide out there, I've had a lot of fun playing through this tutorial, it's also a great way to see the map when you do it yourself. Couple of tips I've noticed while playing through it 1. When killing the khajiit merchant outside Dawnstar, after reloading the game you need to ask him what he was for sale before the chest will reload with loot 2. The drop items/companion pick up fast travel glitch works on every item I have tried thus far (including enchanted, however, they disappear quicker) I used this method to help with levelling up my smithing by amassing some 800 gold ingots to make 1500 rings. And on the daedra hearts needed for the daedric armour set 3. I personally found the restoration xp farm somewhat difficult would level up 10 levels then be randomly assassinated by one of the attacking guards, an alternative method is to use the Equilibrium spell (an Alteration spell) along with continuous healing. Took a bit longer I'm sure but far easier to control and can be done anywhere on the map An additional thought as well, for GameVibz as some point in the demonstration of the technique would be helpful if you could show how many hours it took to do that part, so people know they are on the right track Great Video Once again! For conjuration, you can actually level a bit faster by using Anise’s body in her shack, bring the body near the bed and sleep for the well rested bonus, you then have 8 in game hours of accelerated skill leveling

You dont have to kill the merchants to reset their chest. Simply save, hit them once, reload, ask the merchant what they have for sale. Chest has been reset.

a couple things: 1 the duplication glitch can be done easier just by going in and out of a city gate (might work with somethin like a player house don't know cause I've yet to try the glitch), 2 its much faster to just cast telekinesis with the full cost reduction then fast traveling between holds like whiterun and dawnstar/riften one shot 15 to 100 , 3 use the restoration potion glitch so u can do 100% cost reduction on a single item u can fully reduce all schools on just 3 items (be careful with this glitch it can break ur character if u try to make somethin too powerful I've seen this mainly with weight carry and hp boosts I've also seen it break the alchemy table) fyi I play the legendary edition on the ps3 so this is all without mods

Skyrim has little to explore to begin with. It's a good potato chip game, but ultimately, there's no meat in the game. The RPG mechanics are minimal, the dungeons are almost exactly the same, save for a specific few interesting dungeons, like when getting the aetherium shards, and don't even get me started on the combat, because I would have to physically look at everything to find any source of complexity or strategy. Doesn't make Skyrim a bad game, mind you. There's no wrong way to enjoy a game. It just sounds like you're talking about an entirely different game when you're talking about discovery and getting lost.

At some point during leveling destruction with the greybeards they suddenly started being extremely vigilant... While until Level 50 they would just take being bombarded by firebolts, ice spikes and lightning bolts without a problem, after acquiring the Adept level spells even shooting one of the lower level spells at them would instantly trigger aggression (while using muffle, quiet casting and even invisibility). Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?

For the destruction leveling, I sat in the same spot, just slight forward and equipped flames on the left and lightning rune on the right. It has enough range to hit one of them. Then I place the rune down and hold down flames and keep placing runes until their health is low. Then wait an hour. And just keep doing that. Takes about 10ish times to go up one level. The way he showed worked but this was much faster for me.

(PRO TIP) Note: anytime you learn skills off npc's. You can then steal the gold it cost back. I recommend doing this to level up as well it's much faster than the method shown in the video. I also recommend doing this at the thieves guild. Note: only do this method after getting a high pickpocket in skill tree. That I think can also be obtained in the thieves guild. See (Devon) his might be sneak. Either way this way is extremely faster.

You can level destruction in 2 mins by using unbound storms spell and fast travelling to a remote location far away. You can get the spell for free in hobs fall cave. Make sure its remore like guardian stones otherwise it will attack people nearby. You can use secret of arcane and telekinesis to level to 100 by fast travelling and using it on an item.

if you get your Alchemy up and make fortify destruction potions that will make your destruction spells do more damage/also the Dragonborn DLC has three Priest masks that will increase the three Elemental damage types to like 25% I think

Got caught by the greybeards and now can't attack them without pissing them off, have no save files anywhere near this. Any help?

I found the choking spells to be way more effective on "grinding the greybeards" ;) You can continue to cast it on them while they're downed. Works faster if you don't dual cast but one hand after the other as well. It's way faster imo

So I followed your tutorial for making Magicka costs 0. Worked perfectly, has been working perfectly, but today it stopped working. I have all 4 pieces equipped with destruction at -25% per piece and my Magicka is still going down. I'm on Switch so I'm not messing with mods and I can't find ANYTHING on Google that would tell me what the problem is.

Did you take it off drop it on the ground, and use some spells then pick it back up again??

@@GameVibzMason Just tried it, that didn't work. I also just tried enchanting completely new pieces and that doesn't work either. I also tried using a potion to get me up to 26% on each and that didn't work. Idk what's happening 😭 I'm wondering if the restoration exploit has broken my game. I was using that yesterday but at some point it completely stopped working and will only ever give me a 4% potion and will only add 1% to any enchantment.

With the alteration, instead of taping the trigger instead just pick an item up with telekinesis and teleport to the other side of the map. Trust me it works insta 100 alteration

Easier dupe: go to whiterun (easiest place) drop items infront of Warmaidens, have follower pick items up, exit whiterun via gate, fast travel back, you have (most likely) duplicated the item. With a roughly 10% fail rate but you don't lose an item unless you tried to dupe a stack. *ONLY DUPLICATE ONE ITEM NOT A STACK, 1 ITEM ON THE GROUND. IF YOU DROP 6 ITEMS AND IT STACKS IT WILL DELETE 4 ITEMS.*

3:00 I am mad. All this time my method to get 100 enchanting has been a slow drag. I get the transmute spell from the camp across whiterun, mine all the iron, transmute it to gold, spend over an hour with the duplication glitch, craft gold rings, smithing 100. Then i sell a bunch, buy soul gems, enchant the remaining rings, 100 enchanting, keel over and die. I've suffered for so long, and now the obvious solution is right here. Dawnstar stash.

If you don't want to do the box weapon strategy. You should go to white run and do the duplicate glitch there with weapons or soul gems

What is the best distribution of attributes with this method? If destruction doesn't cost anything by the end of this because of the enchanting is it worth increasing magika?

Why not just use the Atronach Stone mixed with the Apprentice Stone? You make your spells stronger, but while you take more damage from spells, you absorb magicka from them.

Not going to lie ... The sword and board build is my favorite in this game ... I use the crusader pack from creation club and use the sheild and sword for most of the game I like to make my own gear wepon last and sheilds stay the same the whole game ... One handed buffs on necklace gloves and rings ... Achery or sneak buffs on helm and boots depending if you want a cross bow or not for long range .. And a chaos enchanted 1h wepon of you're choice I prefer the dragon bone or dadric wepons to replace the crusaders sword ... Also I like ebony with it and you can use the mage knite creation club for a early ebony set and one with a 1h buff on the chest peice only one in the game too the builds strong and dosnt need creation club stuff just use dawnbreaker and early steel plate from the follower in white run ... I can't rember the dadric shine sheild but its the same as crusaders sheild cast ward when you block ...
