I appreciate you casually using that "abandoned" campsite with the chest while carefully not opening the chest; at first I was on the edge of my seat, thinking you didn't know about the trap, but then you stepped in the bear trap and said "it's like these people want to kill me!" and I cackled once I realized you were fully aware of the danger at that site!

Glad you appreciate it. Also yeah, I have played so much Skyrim, so I have to pretend to not know some things for the sake of the character not knowing.

I do all the side quests and creation club and whatnot also the guilds and whatever, because I like playing the game not as the DragonBorne but as a regular guy that is building reputation and as a bonus I don't have the dragons running around lol, but it's fun and once I do the main quest I just powerhouse through
@JarlChris2 жыл бұрын
That is the way I used to always play Skyrim. Now I just usually push through the main quest before level 25 then go out into the world.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. Unfortunately, I did cut this series short, but I am doing a normal let's play that should resume in about a week after my finals. I do also hope to do more in depth videos soon too.

I know this is a few months too late but I thank the Algorithm for this! Just wanted to say that a mod I really enjoy when playing as an archer of any kind is AGO - Archery Gameplay Overhaul. You should try it out! Also works well with Combat Gameplay Overhaul for Warriors.

This is the kind of playthrough I enjoy, it's just you in the wild surviving. May I ask if the listed mods were the only additions you made? I'd like to make a mod list and these will definitely be included. Oh also nice work on the first video, interested to see where it leads.
@JarlChris Жыл бұрын
Yeah those were all the mods. I kept it pretty simple. Unfortunately this is a pretty short series that got cut short so there's only five parts.
@jamescaptaincabin3t811 Жыл бұрын
@Jarl Chris Ah that's fine, as a short series it still looks interesting, may use it as a basis to how I start my playthrough. Thanks for the clarification on the mods, some others showcase a mod/s and don't mention they have others in the background.

I try to keep my game as vanilla as possible usually. Also this series may be revived in the future so keep an eye out.

Quick question, how do you display the coverage and warmth on equipment ? I have frostfall and wet and cold mods, but the warmth and coverage stats are only showed as a notification once I equip them.
@JarlChris2 жыл бұрын
If I am being honest I don't really remember. It may have been an extra mod or just in the mod settings.

From what I’ve found, working on your stealth sneak damage bonus while roleplaying as a hunter of game works extremely well. Especially since as a hunter you have to be conservative with your shots. Plus I absolutely love hunter and beast master archetypes in fantasy settings. And I say this as a fan of post-apocalyptic fiction. Which for the record, this game and Fallout: New Vegas are my all-time favorite games. With New Vegas at #1 and Skyrim at #2.

This hunter build is something I definitely need to re visit down the line. It had lots of potential but I didn't know how to execute.
@nicholascauton9648 Жыл бұрын
@@JarlChrisI feel a similar way. I played a stealth archer hunter build for a time and had a lot of fun with it. It was mostly so that I could gain some kind of inspiration to write a story about him in a fantasy setting. But I just wasn’t sure how to go about it. And yes, I do also write fiction on my free time. Aside from working out, archery, and some Airsoft here and there as my hobbies, I do like to write fiction inspired by video games I play on a daily basis. One that I’m currently on the editing stage of is titled “The Road Ranger” which is a post-apocalyptic action crime thriller about a former Army Ranger turned vigilante after his mother was murdered for reasons unknown. After the police wouldn’t do anything about his dilemma, he basically becomes The Punisher although most of the story doesn’t quite feel like a post-apocalypse until it gets to the climactic confrontation. This is largely because most of the story takes place in Calivada which is California, Nevada, and Western Arizona becoming one country centuries after a nuclear apocalypse. As far as characters are concerned, there is Matt Santos who is the Army Ranger veteran-turned-vigilante I briefly talked about, then there’s Maria Garcia who is an FBI agent that becomes slowly disillusioned with the law, and then there’s Miz who is this teenage tech genius who is basically their tech support guy. I’ve created all three of these characters in the game Fallout: New Vegas though they are modded characters meaning they have armors and weapons that are somewhat lore-friendly to the Fallout franchise. Edit: Going back to the Army Ranger veteran and FBI agent. As you probably noticed, they are the opposite sex and likely are both adults. Just so you know, there will be some romantic banter between them but there will be no kissing or love-making scene between them. I personally chose this mostly because I don’t want to distract too much from the plot as a whole. And they actually help each other against all odds while they’re both armed with guns. Think of them as Black Widow and The Punisher working together while flirting with one another here and there.
