Nis Bis while vanilla is definitely eh, it’s still an enjoyable sandbox. Dialogue and most combat is crap, but the world and exploration is great. And you can tell there was at least a good story behind all the crap. The imperial, thalmor, stormcloack thing is super interesting in concept, all have believable motives and are brimming with potential. And the lore is pretty great, although a lot of it is thanks to the previous games.

I've been playing the same skyrim game for a 2 years now. I have a binge week or 2 and then play something else to completion and then back to skyrim. The beauty of this name is that the longer you play the more complex your story becomes, i really didn't feel the roll play aspect in the beginning but now I've got a whole back story. This guy might be known for his shaolin history But i personally think his most notable trait is his sense of humor, lmao I've never laughed as many times during a review for a game more than i have here And it's not just this video He's got 11 points in charisma, i swear to it, lol Also as someone who constantly plays as a tanky spell and blade-wielding knight I quite enjoy the spells, the variety is definitely nothing to scoff at because in comparison, how many other games do you know allows you to summon a giant ice atronach to assist you? Or literally summon daedric weapons from the get-go There are problems, but there is nothing wrong with the variety and the two-hand limit I guess the swapping could be a problem, and there's also nothing wrong with adding MORE spells

a good mod combo for skyrim is apocalypse magic, ordinator perks & can't remember the name but it was for enchantments. With ordinator you get a perk, when leveling alteration magic, that makes it so when you stand still you take less damage (with spells equipped). It can then be upgraded later so that a pillar comes from underground after standing still for 5 seconds, lifting you out of range from melee enemies. Also making all magic cast while stood on it deal more damage/heal more etc. Ordinator also adds so much more. Apocalypse adds more spells and works with ordinator.Like a cage that traps a target making them a non-threat but also immune to damage, lifting a wall from the earth that people can't pass or shoot through, more destruction spells like a lightning one that works like lightning bolt but deals less damage and teleports you 2 metres backworks & so many more (100+)

My greatest Skyrim playthrough thus far ( ofc after the first one ) was using mods that enhance your warlock ( there are really insanely creative and powerful spell / magic mods out there ) / battle mage. I can only recommend it. Personaly I played a mix of powerful battle mage and alchemists, creating bombs and what not, while being equipped with the best ( but still immersive ) spells from the modding community. Make sure that the changes don't just apply to you, so it's not one sided. Than you're really in for a great experience. Ah, so many fantastic options to play Skyrim. It truly is one of the best gaming experiences ever made.
