Skyrim Stealth Archer "Quick" Start Up Guide (No Commentary)

A guide to becoming a stealth archer one step at a time. Stealth archers are the most powerful and fun builds to run in Skyrim. This character was made on adept difficulty, but I recommend tuning the difficulty to Expert or higher. Hope you all enjoy.

Excellent! I'm usually a heavy armor dual-wield or board 'n sword type. I've never really given the sneaky arrow type a real chance. You might have convinced me to try again. Two things: 1) When you take Faendal as a companion, take his house key, and you can use the trunks in his house for safe storage. You basically can use his house for your own, until you decide to get your own house. 2) Go ahead with the main quest up to A Blade in the Dark. But don't follow Delphine to Kynsgrove, just leave the quest active. No more random dragon fights! You'll find dragons at word walls and a few other places, enough of them so you can collect a good number of dragon souls for shouts. But no dragons coming out of nowhere messing up quests and killing needed NPCs. Most of the vanilla game and all the DLC is still playable.

I tried doing this guide with a Khajiit and there is this glitch where you can equip the ancient shroud with any other helmet and the effects stack. From what I’ve read this is only the case for beast races like Khajiit and Argonian.

It's Karliah's bow, I believe. The animation is a mod that makes the target fall apart upon death if frozen.

you can max out sneak in the first 20 minutes of gameplay, and become OP in archery in another 4 hours, which is significantly faster than just playing the game normally.

Stealth archery is the easiest build in game basically you use fendal to get to level 50 in archery for free you just get nightingale armor and a bow easy charecter to make you turn in the key you get the nightingale invisibility spell also become a vampire you get that invisibility perk also right outside i believe of nightingale hall is another invisible thing.. nothing special about them they are the begginners chrecter.

Why the full set of nightingale armor though? Most of them don’t benefit bows, and barely benefit sneak, it would be better to use some of the ancient shrouded armor with a little bit of the nightingale, but fully crafted armor that’s enchanted would be way better, I’m mostly confused on the full nightingale set, unless I’m missing something?

The chest piece is actually pretty good. Cutting frost damage in half (which is normally impossible to get on chest armor) and some stamina. Though I agree that if you wanted to get the best possible gear without enchanting it yourself, there are better options. I'd personally go clean the standing stone next to the skaal village in solstheim and buy some gear from their blacksmith. He has a 50% chance to sell a random piece of stalhrim armor and this works even at level 1. If you attack him and quickload, you can farm any piece of stalhrim gear you want as long as you can afford to buy it. You can get a Stalhrim Helmet and Gauntlet of Extreme Archery from him. That's a total 70% bow damage buff at any level.
