that's a great choice.. riverwood keep is my fave too.. compatible for multiple adoption, w/ complete crafting stations & npc can be toggled on/off.. try also Dragonfall Castle - Riften..

@@vikingsen2024 Dragon Fall Castle is my current home. With 25 vanilla & mod followers, and custom guard with Dwemer Armor (I change the default outfit for Dragon Fall Guards with a mod).. Definitely my favourite one. But can you recommend me any castle mods with big amount of guards? I want to make my home really heavy guarded, as I playing with an evil maniac king. 😂

Build Your Noble House was such a fun endeavor for me. I did it on my last play through and it felt so satisfying getting to build everything from the ground up. It took me quite a while to do since I had actually never done anything regarding the Hearthfire DLC before, but it was super fun. The house is so gorgeous and spacious, and it’s so cool having your own little settlement

Build your own noble house is my favorite one on this list. As big as it already is. I hope someone does an expansion for it. Still plenty of land between the town and the gate. I've built everything and now I'm amassing all these materials I don't need. The only dislike I have is the castle interior is a bit too flashy and hurts my eyes in VR.

LC_Build your noble house mod has a bug where your frame rate would drop at a ridiculous amount- I'm talking about 50-60 fps down to roughly 10-20 fps when you're in the location, it may not lag at first, however you will feel it given you spend some time in the area. so recommend downloading me mod if you have an extremely good PC, and hopefully you will do better around 20-40 fps.

my personal top player home is the whiterun mansion if i want to go with something more lorefirndly but still big home for some followers if i want to go with some next level over the top castles i used to go with sjel blade castle but these days its just the dragonborn gallery, every god daim time

Trying to find a player home that you have to fight for, not just clear out some enemies, but rebuild it and clean it up. Kinda like that one mine that goes with the hearthfire home, but without any income generation. I don't like it when a home is just handed to me.

riverwood keep doesnt make much sense, its a great mod but being that close to whiterun surely it would have been garrisoned by imperials? or even stormcloaks. it is a direct road to whiterun so with its size and fortifications it wouldnt be available as a player home, a thane or noble that was loyal to the jarl would have it, if it was offered as part of a boon for defeating a dragon instead of breezehome okay that would make sense, just my opinion :)

Lake view Manor - As It Should Be has such a specific and complicated install process, you’ll be lucky to get it to work. If you screw it up, you’ll have to start a new game to fix it.

Thank you! 1) I don't and won't ever have keys for Skyrim (at least, in nearest future). The thing is, Chrono (who humbly gave me all these tasty keys) mostly works with indie games - and only sometimes with AAA developers - but Bethesda doesn't work with them. 2) Skyrim SE is senseless for PC modding and you don't need it. Better buy LE if you don't have Skyrim on PC, as it's superior to SE in everything. Superior ENB graphics, more gameplay mods and 100% stability with my guide. Just fyi :)

You missed "Leaf Rest" an amazing player home in Riverwood. Behind the wall and down by the waterline. You'll never notice it. Then there is the castle in become Jarl of Ivarstead, surprisingly lore friendly.

Sadly, many mods are not on XBOX. It's not possible to run many of them. Still better than PS4, but for best modding expirience you need Skyrim Legendary Edition on PC :)
