Hey Nate, small mistake, when it comes to the painting. He did not lost his brush. It was stolen and the thieve jumped into the painting. He then was drawing some trolls as protection. But then the trolls killed him and the painter could not get his brush bag, because the trolls where to strong for him. Everythng else is nice and muredered to death. Also to the hip bone the explantion is rather simple. The bosmer you meet is actually the priest in the city, of sheogoraths realm, during the events of oblivion. Meanin that the priest just had to walk over to the museum grab the hip bone and walk out of the gate into the mortal realm. And since he knows that his master makes holiday in the head of Pelagius he take the hip bone to find him and walked to skyrim since there is the access into that part og the plane.

Nate, just something for the final detail, you made one tiny mistake. Dervenin isn't just some common beggar, instead he is a high priest of Mania in the Shivering Isles DLC. My assumption is that he followed Sheogorath into Skyrim, and gave you the hip bone to help bring him back.
@hunterotte40855 жыл бұрын
Actually, there is a very convincing and pretty sensible theory that the emperor does want to be assassinated oddly enough. He is basically failing as an emperor and needs a way to have a new one elected, back down from the throne or suicide would seem cowardly to the people and hurt their morale so instead he gets his friend to set up the assassination but the friend gets to be emperor him saying "You may not think it, but you did the empire a great service.". But Titas does not want or believe in his friends abilities so he asks you to kill him in exchange, only leaving Rex the bodyguard to contest for the throne. Rex in some language being a prefix or suffix being king/emperor. Also odd there is another assassin on board (the 2 in room with him are dead) and the books in the emperors room are almost all on the dark brotherhood. I did't really explain it too well but I recommend checking it out, don't let my super basic description make it sound that bad. XD

We all know how common it is to hear questions like what makes Skyrim so great or what is it about Skyrim that has kept people playing for years and it's still so popular? Well these incredibly well done videos by creators like Nate and Camelworks are a big part I think! Also mentioned in this video....ok you can soul trap people to repower your weapon enchantments. That's cool and interesting. Skyrim certainly isn't the only game with a similar mechanic BUT...how many games bother building substantial lore about what happens to those souls afterwards? How many then let you actually visit and explore the place they go? Many games create gods and demons for their worlds. How many allow you to visit the other planes of existence they dwell in? How many games truly build their demons and gods and really put work in to make the players question the truth behind it? Is the demon really evil or is the god actually the evil one? This is just a little of what makes Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls games so much fun!

Dervenin was or still is the priest of mania in the Shivering Isles. It would make sense if Sheogorath takes Dervenin with him on vacation, maybe even to bring Sheo back if he gets to distracted (what totally not happend). I think the atronach/witch encounter has a slightly different backstory, which a lot of spellcaster players would find familiar. In order to level up Spellcasting schools like destruction, you can summon your own atronach then attack it to level up in a relatively controlled environment. But there is the chance you can’t beat it easily, especially if you’re a squishy mage. I think this is what is happening, the witch was training but bit off more than they could chew (even though the atronach doesn’t disappear like player-summoned atronachs)

if you payed for them digitally, and even if not, you should still be able to download them onto a new system. I am well past the original 360 that had my original plays on it and I still have the dlc.

These videos hold me over until the next time I can play Skyrim. Thank you!! I say the next time because with ten roommates and one TV I don't get any chances to play it.

Just as an aside, we actually did learn a little more about the Dwemer Puzzle Cube in TES3. Hasphat was able to use it to create a key that would open a door in the lower corridors of Arknthamz (I think that's the name of that ruin), which you could then retrieve later in the main questline. Just putting that out there. I'm a completionist. Lol

One small fact I found. The mage bodyguard you can hire at the bee and Barb inn in riften may reference the last dwemer quest line in Morrowind while exploring dwemer ruins

Hey Nate, I'm not sure if you've covered this in a different video but, Dervenin, the Bosmer from the Sheogorath quest, might not just be a random, mad beggar. He may actually be the High Priest of Mania from the Shivering Isles DLC in Oblivion, this is why he knows Sheogorath, knows how to get to him, and refers to him as his "Master". This would also explain why he would be able to give you Pelgaius' Hip Bone/Pelvis, which is in the Museum of Oddities. He would have access to this due to being one of the High Priests. Love the content! Keep it up!

My last name is Grant. I'm no relation to U.S. Grant. These "theories" push the name connection to a silly degree and lack any actual proof.
@SselluosS5 жыл бұрын
What? Lol
@SoiledWig5 жыл бұрын
Well, since these are fictional characters and each one is deliberately devised by a developer, and they know players pay attention to this stuff, and they probably want to amuse themselves, as well, the name connection is likely relevant in these cases.
