Personally, I loved the Orbs of other players around the world where you could trade and invite people for Co-op! It made your own world feel connected with other hero's in their own world as a fragment in your very own.

This game will not be a fable game without jobs and property to buy. I always loved the slice of life that the old games had, I hope they add the ability to run a shop this time imagine selling items you found on your adventures as a shop owner in your "retirement years" late game and just chilling. But that might be a stretch but I can still hope for the best.

Just the choice to be a male/female character. I don't really care about having a FULL character creator cause Fable has never let you do that, but it would feel weird to not be able to in a Role Playing Game. I don't think people are mad about being able to chose a woman, we all know a lot of people prefer playing as a female character given a choice, I think it's the lack of choice that's upsetting people. What I really want and what I haven't seen yet is the alignment showing our character's choices. It was about good/evil and a big part of previous games was that it reflected in our appearance. Hair loss/color, angel/devil wings, horns/halo, those were all unique to fable but we haven't seen any of it. Which is also concerning if Playground just threw that out so your character would look the exact same all the way through the game.

Agree but I prefer if the appearance change was more noticable like in fable 2 cause fable 3 it was only when fighting that the wing's appeared and there was more choices depending on purity and corruption

@mangelangel2570 I think there's going to be a twist and there's going to be a bigger villain. Maybe she was getting manipulated, or maybe she felt like she had no option but to make certain choices due to a bigger threat. Kinda like logan in fable 3

I did notice that the woman in the portrait behind Humphrey's mace 1:16, looks to have a similar staff, gloves and cloak to the antagonist in the end of the trailer. A portrait Humphrey ripped the face off in shame perhaps. But not fully discarded, perhaps he has still hope for the good in her.

My guess, the Big Bad, is Scarlet Robe (with Humphrey's Cape), corrupted by the evil essance of what came to be known as "Jack of Blades". Humphrey will somehow sacrifice himself to save Scarlet, but become Jack of Blades in the process. Yeah?? Maybe?? I forget, is this game meant to be set before or after the 1st game?

I think the “villain” at the end is actually Theresa. She used the Spire to “create a world without suffering” some time after the events of Fable 3, something went wrong and created a world that was different from the old one but still had the same problems, and now she wants to reset it again. This would mean The Journey would now be considered non canon, but I don’t think people would care that much.

Maybe our protagonist is the child or decent of the hero of Oakvale and the antagonist is Theresa? 0:44 is a painting of a person wearing red and the eyes scratched out. The corruption.. maybe that’s her will or like in fable the journey, the corruption took hold of her. But also she’s always been on a more evil side of things. She was raised by bandits, manipulated king Lucian into building the spire. Maybe this new game takes place after the the first game. Would also explain there being no guns (yet) and trolls still being around (in 3 king Logan had them all killed). Idk, maybe I’m just hoping we get to see Theresa and more of her side of the story

I feel like this might take place between Fable 1 and 2. That is Fairfax instead of the later Bowerstone castle and not seeing guns combined with the Hero's Guild being in existence still it sort of makes sense. Timeline wise we know that the Hero of Oakvale lived the end of his life in peace in Oakfield gate, not specifying if Oakfield existed before or after the fall of Oakvale but would assume he would have tried to stop the fall of Oakvale if he was alive so possibly before, allowing for Oakvale to exist and lead a later rebellion against the Hero's Guild. He probably was instrumental in guiding the guild properly until his retirement and probably even after until his death. So imagine if Humphrey took over at some point, possibly even being an apprentice to the Hero of Oakvale due to him being the new head, I imagine your character might be the Hero of Oakvales decendent since we seem to follow his family's lineage throughout the series. It is never completely specified when Fairfax was built, just eventually that it gets taken over by Lucien possibly long after the Alchemist who built it died. The guild is apparently still in existence and in it's glory still to a point in this game. Heroes, while probably not completely prevalent appear to be prevalent enough for the guild to exist properly still. Maybe this villain is the straw the broke the camels back for the people of Albion and when guns do exist they finally destroy the guild, whether within this game or later after it. Just my theory and speculation of course. Lot of places that this game can be put in a lengthy timeline but Castle Fairfax being in it instead of Bowerstne Castle kind of limits it.

What if this is a new take on Fable 1. But instead, Teressa survived the raid, hence she turns into the red-capped badie. Her line where she says "I'm going to fix it this place" is teressas motto from the original fables. Trying to make Albion better/safer so no one had to suffer like her and her family in fable 1. She was practically evil for the sake of good for all fables. They also depict her with vambraces and a staff, Teresa wore vambraces and was a will user in the original games.

It looks like it might be set in the period before Fable 1 and Fable 2 - hopefully exploring the Fall of the Guild through the mysterious villain :D

Part of me thinks that this new Fable game may actually take place near/around the time of the fall of the Guild. (Or perhaps right after) Again, no guns, which was one of the defining factors in the overthrow of the Guild. But also with the other trailer and how some people seem to maybe just hate you/heroes for being heroes. It might also actually be that this female hero who seems to be the main villain/antagonist, so far, actually disappeared to Samarkaan and is the one to bring back gunpowder to Albion, inciting the very revolution that destroys the Guild. Also putting you in the difficult situation of whether to fight the civilians in an (ultimately fruitless as we know from Fable 2) effort to save your fellow heroes and the people relying on you, trying to uphold the status quo. Or agree with her and see the possible corruption of the Guild/Heroes and help take it down. Made worse/harder with the knowledge of historical hindsight. I do think it is very possible that this game leads to the eventual dismantling of the Guild, with the question being which side of that history you’ll be on, and what your reasons for that too.
