Recently lost my 2450 by being careless. So I went out and grabbed the latest version (Journey). First of all, the frame improvements I LOVE. Lighting is much better too. Battery placement a big improvement. I'm an Arducopter fan thanks to Dinardi. Any who... Matt is a genius. This thing flys great.

Just brought a sky viper drone fury stunt it is really really cool and the flying time is like 10 or 12 min going to buy all of the sky viper drone

how do i reset the wifi password on the journey? i tried what the manual says and it doesnt do anything. any help would be greatly appreicated!

Matt Morton and crew are the real deal. I've had the 2450 for 12 months and its solid as a rock. And with new 107 night flying/over people flying reg. coming soon....these small drones fit in category 1. Its only a toy if you treat it like a toy. Just like a guitarist, its all in the fingers baby. The best players can make the cheapest guitar sound beautiful. (BTW - I'm a Solo/Arducopter fan)

Jason, I did not test the video, my guess would be no since its still a hard-mounted camera. however a lot could be done in terms of playing with that, remove the camera/board and mount it on small squares of soft-foam so it can float better and isolate vibrations. specially if the battery was attached with the camera board so the mass of the battery were part of absorbing the vibrations

Its a price point thing, down camera ad about $25 to the price point, and they have to hit specific price points, remember we noticed there is a camera hold on the Journey drone, that was removed because it pushed the price point over target.

I own a Tello and a Sky Viper v2450 GPS, and although they are similar price points, they are very different drones, each with its own advantages. The customization options with Ardupilot, Mission Planner, gps and return to home in a sub 250g drone are amazing. Yeah, Tello is super stable and still images are great, but no gps or onboard storage? Like I said both drones have their strengths and compromises. But I love them both.

AJ Alvarez How much is the Tello after you buy a controller separately and what kind of range will you get with it? Sky Vipers are sport drones you can find in the toy aisle of Walmart and are completely ready to fly. If you want a good video drone in this price range, a refurb Parrot Bebop 1 blows away the Tello.

the motors on this bird is not able to fly it longer really - when you hang bigger batteries on these things they also get heavier.. ;)

LOL - you realize Im not the manufacture and not customer support right? it is likely that the app is aging out as its not really a current product being 4-5 years old in the toy-drone world.
